γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) and rare ginsenosides are good antioxidant and anti-fatigue active components that can be enriched via probiotic fermentation. In this study, ginseng and germinated brown rice were used as raw materials to produce six fermented purees using fermentation and non-fermentation technology. We tested the chemical composition of the purees and found that the content of GABA and rare ginsenoside (Rh, Rg, and CK) in the puree made of ginseng and germinated brown rice (FGB) increased significantly after fermentation.

Propiconazole (PRO) has been widely used in the treatment of fungal infection in fruits, vegetables, cereals, and seeds. In this study, a newly established chiral liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry method was applied to the systemic stereoselectivity evaluation of PRO enantiomers, including toxicokinetics, tissue distributions, cytotoxicity, accumulation, and degradation. Our results showed that both (+)-2,4-PRO and (-)-2,4-PRO had lower and AUC and higher CLz/F values in plasma and lower accumulation concentrations in the liver, heart, and brain.

According to the Unaccusative Hypothesis, intransitive verbs are divided into unaccusative and unergative ones based on the distinction of their syntactic properties, which has been proved by previous theoretical and empirical evidence. However, debate has been raised regarding whether intransitive verbs in Mandarin Chinese can be split into unaccusative and unergative ones syntactically. To analyze this theoretical controversy, the present study employed functional magnetic resonance imaging to compare the neural processing of deep unaccusative, unergative sentences, and passive sentences (derived structures undergoing a syntactic movement) in Mandarin Chinese.

Bovine papillomaviruses (BPV) are small circular DNA viruses which can be widely spread in herd, inducing cattle tumours, therefore, leading economic losses in dairy and beef production industries. BPV-leads symptoms include cutaneous papillomas, fibropapillomas, urinary bladder and oesophageal carcinoma. This paper investigates the problem of complex modified projective synchronization (CMPS) of fractional-order complex-variable chaotic systems (FOCCS) with unknown complex parameters. By a complex-variable inequality and a stability theory for fractional-order nonlinear systems, a new scheme is presented for constructing CMPS of FOCCS with unknown complex parameters. The proposed scheme not only provides a new method to analyze fractional-order complex-valued systems but also significantly reduces the complexity of computation and analysis.
