Deviated Nasal Septum a Risk Factor for the Occurrence of Chronic Rhinosinusitis.

The aim of this review article is to determine whether a deviated nasal septum (DNS) is a potential risk factor for the occurrence of chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS). Nasal septal deformities include spur, deviated nasal septum, thickening, and dislocation. Deformities of the nose tip and columella are examples of external deformities, together with the deviated part of either cartilage or both the bony and cartilage part of the dorsum of the nose.
