Of all primary bladder cancers, primary adenocarcinoma is an uncommon tumor. When considering all tumor origin areas, secondary bladder involvement from carcinoma, whether by direct extension or metastasis, is actually more prevalent than primary adenocarcinoma, despite its rarity. The most common source of subsequent bladder tumors is endometrial, lung, colon, prostate, breast, or other organ adenocarcinomas.
