The effects of coconut shell biochar and coke on anaerobic digestion of river snail rice noodle wastewater treatment were assessed, and the microbial community, and methane metabolic pathways were investigated. When the hydraulic retention time was 24 h, the average chemical oxygen demand (COD) removal rates in the reactors with coconut shell biochar and coke were 94.02% and 88.

Influences of perfluoroalkyl substances on the performance and microbial metabolic pathways of constructed rapid infiltration systems are not fully understood. In this study, wastewater containing different concentrations of perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA)/perfluorobutyric acid (PFBA) was treated in constructed rapid infiltration systems with coke as filler. The addition of 5 and 10 mg/L PFOA inhibited the removal of chemical oxygen demand (COD) (80.

The negative effects of perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) on biological nitrogen removal performance in wastewater treatment plants, are receiving increasing attention due to the widespread reporting of this issue. In this study, pomelo peel iron-loaded biochar (Fe-PBC) was added to an anammox bioreactor to alleviate the negative effects of PFOA. Results showed that the addition of Fe-PBC increased the ammonia and nitrite removal efficiencies from 77.

Six new polyketides, including one coumarin (), two isocoumarins ( and ), dihydroradicinin (), and two benzofuranone derivatives ( and ), together with seven known analogues (- and -) were isolated from the culture of the mangrove endophytic fungus SCNU-F0002. The structures were elucidated on the interpretation of spectroscopic data. The absolute configuration of Compounds and were determined by comparison of their ECD spectra with the data of their analogue dihydroisocoumarins described in the literature.

Two new compounds, an abscisic acid-type sesquiterpene (), and one asterric acid derivative (), together with three known compounds () were isolated from mangrove endophytic fungus SK7. The structures of these metabolites were determined by NMR, X-ray crystal diffraction, CD and HR-ESI-MS. All compounds were tested for their antibacterial, antioxidant and cytotoxic activities, among these compounds, showed cytotoxicity against MDA-MB-435 cell with an IC of 25.

One new meroterpenoid, named 2-hydroacetoxydehydroaustin (), together with nine known meroterpenoids, 11-acetoxyisoaustinone (), isoaustinol (), austin (), austinol (), acetoxydehydroaustin (), dehydroaustin (), dehydroaustinol (), preaustinoid A2 (), and 1,2-dihydro-acetoxydehydroaustin B (), were isolated from the mangrove endophytic fungus, sp. 16-5c. These structures were characterized by spectroscopic analysis, further the absolute configurations of stereogenic carbons for Compounds , , , , , , , and were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis using Cu Kα radiation.
