[Validation of ballistocardiography data for predicting the sleep efficiency in healthy individuals and patients with insomnia].

Objective: To identify valid parameters of heart rate variability (HRV) and musculoskeletal movements based on ballistocardiography data, which allow predicting the sleep efficiency (SE) index in healthy individuals and patients with insomnia.

Material And Methods: Ten healthy individuals and 14 patients with chronic insomnia were examined using polysomnography and ballistocardiography. A regression analysis of the data was carried out, as well as a reliability check of the resulting mathematical model.

The basis of CCT, as a non-invasive method of influencing the functional activity of the brain and the processes of neuroplasticity, is software for stimulating cognitive functions in order to improve their productivity. The level of scientific and practical interest in CCP technology is growing rapidly.

Molecular Analysis of Biliary Tract Cancers with the Custom 3' RACE-Based NGS Panel.

The technique 3' rapid amplification of cDNA ends (3' RACE) allows for detection of translocations with unknown gene partners located at the 3' end of the chimeric transcript. We composed a 3' RACE-based RNA sequencing panel for the analysis of gene rearrangements, detection of activating mutations located within , and genes, and measurement of the expression of and transcripts. This NGS panel was utilized for the molecular profiling of 168 biliary tract carcinomas (BTCs), including 83 intrahepatic cholangiocarcinomas (iCCAs), 44 extrahepatic cholangiocarcinomas (eCCAs), and 41 gallbladder adenocarcinomas (GBAs).

Objective: To evaluate a tailored opioid reduction strategy (TORS) in minimizing opioid prescriptions for patients undergoing hysterectomy.

In this work, aqueous solutions of sodium diclofenac are investigated, which, like most medicinal compounds, is poorly soluble in water. Interplay of π-stacking and inter-stacking interactions in two-component crystals of neutral closed-shell aromatic compounds: periodic DFT study.

This paper bridges the gap between high-level computations of gas-phase models of 1 : 1 arene-arene complexes and calculations of the two-component (binary) organic crystals using atom-atom potentials. The studied crystals consist of electron-rich and electron-deficient compounds, which form infinite stacks (columns) of heterodimers. The sublimation enthalpy of crystals has been evaluated by DFT periodic calculations, while intermolecular interactions have been characterized by Bader analysis of the periodic electronic density.

It also describes the synthesis of mitochondria-targeted antioxidants - uncouplers of oxidative phosphorylation - based on fluorescent dyes.

New Fluorescent Macrolide Derivatives for Studying Interactions of Antibiotics and Their Analogs with the Ribosomal Exit Tunnel.

Novel fluorescent derivatives of macrolide antibiotics related to tylosin bearing rhodamine, fluorescein, Alexa Fluor 488, BODIPY FL, and nitrobenzoxadiazole (NBD) residues were synthesized. The formation of complexes of these compounds with 70S E. coli ribosomes was studied by measuring the fluorescence polarization depending on the ribosome amount at constant concentration of the fluorescent substance.

Interaction of Chloramphenicol Tripeptide Analogs with Ribosomes.

Chloramphenicol amine peptide derivatives containing tripeptide fragments of regulatory "stop peptides" - MRL, IRA, IWP - were synthesized. Using a method of static simulation, a series of erythromycin A analogs was designed with aldehyde functions introduced instead of one of the methyl substituents in the 3'-N-position of the antibiotic that was potentially capable of forming a covalent bond with an amino group of one of the nucleotide residues of the 23S rRNA in the ribosomal exit tunnel. Similar interaction is observed for antibiotics of the tylosin series, which bind tightly to the large ribosomal subunit and demonstrate high antibacterial activity. Binding of novel erythromycin derivatives with the bacterial ribosome was investigated with the method of fluorescence polarization.

[Genetic diversity of modern Russian durum wheat cultivars at the gliadin-coding loci].

The allelic diversity at four gliadin-coding loci was examined in modern cultivars of the spring and winter durum wheat Triticum durum Desf. Comparative analysis of the allelic diversity showed that the gene pools of these two types of durum wheat, having different life styles, were considerably different. For the modern spring durum wheat cultivars, a certain reduction of the genetic diversity was observed compared to the cultivars bred in the 20th century.
