Introduction: Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a frequent complication after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), with reported incidences ranging from 20-70% within the first 100 days post-transplant. AKI can adversely impact outcomes and survival in this patient population.

Methods: This retrospective study evaluated 110 pediatric patients who underwent HSCT at Mofid Children's Hospital, affiliated with Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran, between 2016-2021.

The effect of photobiomodulation therapy on implant stability: A systematic review and meta-analysis.

This study was designed to determine the effect of photobiomodulation therapy on dental implant stability. A complete systematic search was performed in PUBMED/MEDLINE, COCHRANE library databases, EMBASE, SCOPUS, and Google Scholar databases on articles published until June 2024. All the RCTs and CCTs reported the solo impact of photobiomodulation on dental implant stability in humans were included.

Investigating the effects of 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 on clinical outcomes in multiple sclerosis patients: A randomized, double-blind clinical trial- a pilot study.

Background: The primary objective of this clinical trial was to assess whether administrating oral calcifediol (25(OH)D) could enhance the clinical outcomes of patients diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

Methods: This clinical trial was designed as a randomized, double-blind, two-arm study, with 25 participants receiving daily 50 μg of calcifediol and 25 people receiving daily 50 μg of cholecalciferol. The primary outcomes were serum levels of 25(OH)D, number of relapses, changes in Kurtzke Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS), the 25-foot walk, and cognitive function.

In this review, we examine 25 selected hereditary metabolic bone diseases and recognized genetic variations of 78 genes that represent each of the three groups, including sclerosing bone disorders, disorders of defective bone mineralization and disorder of bone matrix and cartilage formation. Evaluation of irrigant extrusion following the use of different root canal irrigation techniques: A systematic review and meta-analysis.

Evidence-Based Prediction of COVID-19 Severity in Hospitalized Children.

Fabrication of edible solid lipid nanoparticle from beeswax/propolis wax by spontaneous emulsification: Optimization, characterization and stability.

In the current study, the production and characterization of novel solid lipid nanoparticles (SLNs) using safe/low-cost natural beeswax (BW) and propolis wax (PW) and by the simple and inexpensive assay of spontaneous emulsification were studied.
