Background: Chronic wounds present significant challenges for patients and nursing care teams worldwide. Digital health tools offer potential for more standardised and efficient nursing care pathways but require further rigorous evaluation.
Objective: This retrospective matched cohort study aimed to compare the impacts of a digital tracking application for wound documentation versus traditional manual nursing assessments.
Magnesium (Mg) as a metal has wide applications, but its use in chemical reactions is rarely reported. Currently, magnesium catalytic processes are being developed to synthesize basic chemical compounds. Therefore, an effective and recyclable nano-catalyst was synthesized using MgFeO@Tris in this study.

The structure of the nanocatalyst CoFeO@SiO-EA-HPO was identified by applying several spectroscopic techniques, FT-IR, SEM, TEM, XRD, EDX, elemental Mapping, VSM, TGA, and BET techniques. The catalytic efficiency of CoFeO@SiO-EA-HPO was evaluated in the water-based multicomponent synthesis of pyrazolopyranopyrimidine and dihydropyrano[2,3-]pyrazole derivatives.

Adsorption has been considered as a common methods for dye removal from waters. In this study, Acid Red18 removal in batch mode by using Granular Ferric Hydroxide (GFH) was investigated.

This study focused on the removal of Cr(VI) from aqueous solutions using Amberlite XAD7 resin loaded titanium dioxide (Ti-XAD7).
Methods: Ti-XAD7 was synthesized using Amberlite XAD-7 impregnated with titanium tetraethoxide.
Aims: Synthesis of pyrrolo[1,2-d][1,4]benzoxazines and pyrrolo[1,2-a]pyrazines using magnetic nanoparticles.
Background: One-pot, three component reaction for the synthesis of pyrrolo[1,2-d][1,4]benzoxazines and pyrrolo[1,2-a]pyrazines is reported. For the synthesis of pyrrolo[1,2-d][1,4]benzoxazines use of 2- aminophenols, dialkylacetylenedicarboxylates and β -nitrostyrene derivatives and Pyrrolo[1,2-a]pyrazines synthesized from reaction of ethylenediamine, dialkylacetylenedicarboxylates and β-nitrostyrene derivatives is discussed.
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of continuous extremely low frequency magnetic fields (ELF-MFs) with a frequency of 10 Hz and an intensity of 690-720 μT on the level of 5-hydroxyindolacetic acid (5-HIAA) in adult male Wistar rats. A total of 24 adult Wistar male rats were used, and after exposure with an ELF-MF for 15 successive days, all rats in each test were anesthetized with chloral hydrate. Then, they were placed in a stereotaxic frame for surgery and a microdialysis process.

We have previously reported that ectopic overexpression of hHSS1 has a negative modulatory effect on cell proliferation and tumorigenesis in glioblastoma model systems. Here we have used microarray analysis, screened glioblastoma samples in The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), and studied the effects of hHSS1 on glioma-derived cells and endothelial cells to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying the anti-tumorigenic effects of hHSS1.

Since its original cloning in 1995, ZnT-1 has been considered to be the major Zn(2+) extruding transporter, based on its ability to protect cells against zinc toxicity. However, experimental evidence for ZnT-1 induced Zn(2+) extrusion was not convincing.

Here, we used a mouse model of Alport syndrome, Col4a5(-/-) mice, to determine whether amniotic fluid stem cells could modify the course of progressive renal fibrosis. Intracardiac administration of amniotic fluid stem cells before the onset of proteinuria delayed interstitial fibrosis and progression of glomerular sclerosis, prolonged animal survival, and ameliorated the decline in kidney function.

The influences of effective parameters such as flow rate, pH, eluent conditions (type, volume, and concentration), sample volumes, and interference of matrix ions on metal ions recoveries were studied. Under optimized conditions, the limits of detection were found in the range of 0.

Stem-cell based therapies may provide alternative approaches to treating of ATN. We have previously shown that clonal c-kit(pos) stem cells, derived from human amniotic fluid (hAFSC) can be induced to a renal fate in an ex-vivo system.
