Workers engaged into the studied production are exposed to occupational factors complex as vapor, gas and aerosol mixture. Metallic mercury vapors and its compounds exceed MAC over 10 times in this mixture, noise level at the enterprise is 10 dB over the maximal allowable level, general vibration is 8 dB over the MAL, the occupational hazards also include unfavorable microclimate, work hardiness and intensity. Psychoemotional state of the workers demonstrate significantly disordered emotions and will, premorbid personality changes, lower memory and attention level, indisposition and mood changes, increased reactive and personal anxiety, decreased performance level.

In this review we systematized literature data illuminating problems of prevention and correction of cognitive disorders in patients with arterial hypertension (AH). On the basis of results of multicenter randomized studies we have demonstrated close interrelationship between cardiac and cerebral pathology and value of treatment of concomitant neurologic and cardiovascular disorders for prevention of cognitive disturbances in patients with AH. We have shown rational approach to planning antihypertensive therapy and to degree of arterial pressure (AP) lowering in patients with AH, including those with cerebrovascular pathology having high risk of development of stroke and dementia.

Distribution of antigens HLA was characterized in 84 Azerbaijan patients with multiple sclerosis. Compared to controls, antigens DR2 and DR4 occurred in the patients more frequently, while determinant B35 less frequently. In remittent and progressive disease antigens A2, B12 and A3, B7 were encountered more frequently, respectively.
