Descemet stripping automated endothelial keratoplasty.

Endothelial keratoplasty is at present the gold standard for surgical treatment of corneal endothelial pathologies not associated with significant corneal scar. Tremendous progress has been made in recent years in improving the technology of endothelial keratoplasty techniques, such as descemet stripping automated endothelial keratoplasty (DSAEK) and descemet membrane endothelial keratoplasty. In this review, we discuss the current techniques and outcomes of DSAEK.

Awareness and Knowledge of Glaucoma in Central India: A Hospital-Based Study.

Purpose: To assess the awareness and knowledge of glaucoma among people attending the ophthalmology outpatient department at a tertiary care hospital in central India.

Design: A prospective observational study.

Methods: A questionnaire-based study was conducted, involving persons aged 18 and above attending the ophthalmology outpatient department from October 2014 to September 2015.

Waardenburg-Shah Syndrome: a rare case in an Indian child.

A 7-year-old male child presented with a history of discolouration of right eye since birth. On examination visual acuity was 6/6 on Snellen's chart in both eyes; anterior segment was within normal limits except for the brilliant blue discolouration of the inferior quadrant and superior quadrant of right iris and left eye iris, respectively. Both eyes had a clear lens and fundus findings were within normal limits.
