In this work, LaCoO and LaMnO perovskites with the higher specific surface area were synthesized using MOFs as precursor, then, the composite catalysts CeO-LaCoFeO and CeO-LaMnFeO were prepared by using CeO as support and Fe element doping LaCoO and LaMnO, respectively. The as-prepared samples were characterized by XRD, SEM, XPS, H-TPR, and N physisorption techniques. Subsequently, toluene was used as the probe molecule for volatile organic compounds (VOCs) to test the catalytic activity of these as-prepared catalysts.

ABO-type perovskites (A = La, Ce; B = Mn, Ni) were prepared by sol-gel method, and applied for catalytic oxidation of toluene. The activity test results show that the activity of LaMnO can be improved when a small amount of Ce and Ni are doped into the A and B sites of LaMnO, respectively. The effects of different calcination temperatures and different calcination time on the preparation of La-based perovskites were also investigated.

Binary Sb Se semiconductors are promising as the absorber materials in inorganic chalcogenide compound photovoltaics due to their attractive anisotropic optoelectronic properties. However, Sb Se solar cells suffer from complex and unconventional intrinsic defects due to the low symmetry of the quasi-1D crystal structure resulting in a considerable voltage deficit, which limits the ultimate power conversion efficiency (PCE). In this work, the creation of compact Sb Se films with strong [00l] orientation, high crystallinity, minimal deep level defect density, fewer trap states, and low non-radiative recombination loss by injection vapor deposition is reported.

A three-dimensional g-CN/MWNTs/GO hybrid modified electrode was constructed as an electrochemical sensor for the simultaneous determination of ascorbic acid (AA), dopamine (DA) and uric acid (UA). Due to the high conductivity of MWCNTs and the strong synergy between g-CN and GO, the combination of the three effectively improved the electrocatalytic activity of the modified electrode for the oxidation of AA, DA, and UA, and solved the problems such as overlapping anodic peaks. The electrochemical performance of the as-constructed sensor was investigated and optimized by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV).

Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and its related member, placental growth factor (PlGF), play important roles in stimulating vascular growth (angiogenesis) in both physiological conditions such as embryonic development and pathological conditions such as inflammation and tumor growth. Development of monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) capable of blocking the interaction of VEGF and its receptors, which in turn block VEGF-mediated angiogenesis, has become a novel and very powerful approach for cancer management. Here we report the generation of a mouse monoclonal antibody M23, which binds to both the natural and denatured forms of human VEGF165, as well as to two other major VEGF isoforms (VEGF121 and VEGF189) being tested.
