Here we present a rare case of hemorrhagic longitudinally extensive transverse myelitis (LETM) as a first presentation of Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder. Even though the patient received aggressive treatment, he showed no significant improvement. Our case highlights the importance of prompt intervention in the case of hemorrhagic myelitis and the diagnostic challenges of hemorrhagic LETM.

Here we present a co-occurrence of a non-typical presentation of DIG/DIA and multiple sclerosis in a 13-year-old female. Our case highlights how a thorough investigation prior to treatment is needed in patients with such condition to choose proper management for better prognosis.

The objective of this study was to estimate the trend in mortality due to drowning in all provinces of Iran in all age groups and both genders from 1990 to 2015.
Study Design: The National and Subnational Burden of Diseases (NASBOD) project is a comprehensive project in Iran.
