Unlabelled: The objective is to determine the complete nucleotide sequence and conduct a phylogenetic analysis of genome variants of the Puumala virus isolated in the Saratov region.
Materials And Methods: The samples for the study were field material collected in the Gagarinsky (formerly Saratovsky), Engelssky, Novoburassky and Khvalynsky districts of the Saratov region in the period from 2019 to 2022. To specifically enrich the Puumala virus genome in the samples, were used PCR and developed a specific primer panel.

In this paper, the authors review experimental data on the ability to perceive the passage of time during wakefulness and sleep. The evolutionary significance of the sense of time and its role in cognitive functions is discussed. Recent findings on neural mechanisms underlying perception and estimation of time as well as temporal order judgments are described.

For this purpose, in studies conducted in 2013-2015, suspensions of bloodsucking arthropods, organs of birds and small mammals were analyzed for the presence of WNV markers (antigens and/or RNA). The seroprevalence level in live-stock animals and population of the region was evaluated; clinical samples from patients with symptoms compatible with West Nile fever (WNF) were analyzed.

Materials And Methods: Epizootological and epidemiologic data from 1998 to 2012 were analyzed, gathered in HFRS foci of all types in Saratov area of Saratov Region (typical barrens). 14,606 trap-nights were worked off and 2669 small mammals were procured.
Aim: Determine qualitative and quantitative criteria of evaluation of features for natural, natural-anthropourgic and anthropourgic foci of hantaviruses (using hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome--HFRS foci as an example), that have formed in various areas of Saratov Region.
Materials And Methods: Epizootological and epidemiologic data from 1998 to 2012 were analyzed. During this period in all the types of foci of Atkarsk area (Northern barrens) 13,004 trap-nights were worked off, 2577 small mammals were procured.

Aim: Detection of circulation of West Nile virus (WNV) on the territory of Saratov Region and prerequisites for formation of natural focus of West Nile fever (WNF), determination of the role of WNV in infectious pathology on the territory of the region.
Materials And Methods: of organs of small mammals, birds, blood-sucking arthropods for the presence of WNV markers (antigens and/or RNA) were studied. Clinical material from patients with symptoms not excluding WNF was studied.
With continuing improvements in spatial resolution of positron emission tomography (PET) scanners, small patient movements during PET imaging become a significant source of resolution degradation. This work develops and investigates a comprehensive formalism for accurate motion-compensated reconstruction which at the same time is very feasible in the context of high-resolution PET. In particular, this paper proposes an effective method to incorporate presence of scattered and random coincidences in the context of motion (which is similarly applicable to various other motion correction schemes).

The aim of this work was to develop a general approach to motion-corrected reconstruction of motion-contaminated data in the case of rigid motion (particularly brain imaging) which would be applicable to any PET scanner in the field, without specialized data-acquisition requirements.
Methods: Assuming the ability to externally track subject motion during scanning (e.

The territorial spread of Tahyna, Batai, Sindbis, West Nile fever and Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever viruses throughout the Saratov region in 1998 - 2000 was analyzed. The characteristics of the epizootic activity of the natural foci of these arboviruses in different landscape zones (temperate forest-steppes, steppes and semi-deserts) were calculated. The species composition of small mammals, the natural reservoirs of the causative agents of arbovirus infections, was determined.
