Gefitinib (GB), an oral tyrosine kinase inhibitor suffers major setbacks in clinical application due to limited aqueous solubility leading to poor oral bioavailability. Nanosuspension serves as a promising formulation strategy to overcome the above-mentioned drawbacks. Hence, the present study involves the development of gefitinib nanosuspension (GB-NS) using High-pressure homogenization (HPH) to increase its aqueous solubility and maximize oral bioavailability.

However, membrane fouling remains a critical bottleneck, limiting its widespread application, particularly in treating high-strength wastewater. Recent advances have demonstrated that integrating MBR systems with auxiliary processes such as adsorption, electrochemical treatments, algal-assisted systems, and others can significantly mitigate fouling and enhance treatment efficacy.

Objectives: The purpose of this paper was to develop the PARCCS (Prediction of Acute Risk for Cardiovascular Complications in the Peripartum Period Score) for acute CV complications during delivery.
Methods: Data from the National Inpatient Sample (2016-2020) and International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Revision codes to identify delivery admissions were used.
Objectives: Oral cancer is significantly high in India, and screening is an effective approach to downstage the disease. Educating Community Health Workers (CHWs) on early oral cancer detection is an effective step toward reducing the burden and serves as a first step toward facilitating the transfer of knowledge. Therefore, the purpose of this hands-on education was to equip CHWs with insight on the advanced diagnostics, preventive techniques, and innovations for the early detection of oral cancer.

Here, an enzyme-responsive polymeric prodrug with self-assembly properties was synthesized for targeted co-delivery of paclitaxel (PTX) and ursolic acid (UA). Hyaluronic acid (HA) was conjugated with UA, yielding an amphiphilic prodrug with 13.

However, the lived experiences of patients who develop complications after surgery are not well understood. Determining this experience of patients is challenging in most low- and middle-income countries where the majority of patients belong to poor strata of society and are uneducated.

Ease of administration, easy handling, minimum systemic exposure, least discomfort, broad flexibility and tunability, controlled release, prolonged therapeutic effect, and many more perks make it a promising approach for effective drug delivery. Although, the primary challenge associated is poor skin permeability.

These occur within hours of blood transfusion and lead to acute respiratory distress. The differentiation between TACO and TRALI has always been a great challenge in the context of underlying etiology, whether it is volume overload or lung injury, or both.

While the symptoms suggest obstructive coronary disease, the actual angiography turns out to be negative or nonsignificantly obstructive. Despite being a benign condition, its presence increases the risk of adverse cardiovascular events and leads to poor quality of life in the patients.
