Congenital neonatal skull depression, not associated with trauma is a rare clinical entity, with an incidence of 1 in 10000. The depression is thought to be due to compression by foetal limbs or maternal pelvis. Though the condition is mostly self-resolving over the course of a few months, it causes tremendous parental anxiety.
