Traditional chemotherapy often encounters failure attributed to drug resistance mediated by tumor-repopulating cells (TRCs) and chemotherapy-triggered immune suppression. The effective inhibition of TRCs and the mitigation of drug-induced immune suppression are pivotal for the successful chemotherapy. Here, TRC-derived microparticles (3D-MPs), characterized by excellent tumor-targeting and high TRC uptake properties, are utilized to deliver metformin and the chemotherapeutic drug doxorubicin ((DOX+Met)@3D-MPs).

And the prevalence of patients who test negative with existing diagnostic techniques remains high. It was found that the antigenic BCOADC-E2 protein could detect patients with a negative original test.

The ERA5-Land LST dataset, developed and managed by the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), is extensively used for global or regional LST studies. However, its fine-scale application is limited by its low spatial resolution.

The contributing factors of cognitive disorders are numerous and diverse in nature, including organic diseases and other mental disorders. Neurodegenerative diseases are a common type of organic disease related to the pathology of neuronal death and disruption of glial cell balance, ultimately accompanied with cognitive impairment.

Electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction reaction (ECORR) to produce high value-added products is a promising and effective strategy for closing the artificial carbon cycle and achieving sustainable development of resource. However, catalyst structural reorganization and agglomeration caused by the reduction process will reduce the catalytic performance. In this study, a carbon nitrogen shell with cupper-doped (CNCu shell) catalyst was prepared using silicon dioxide (SiO) as a template.

Objective: To establish a new predicting model by detecting the pyroptosis markers with other clinical indicators.
This study addresses the limitations of traditional sports rehabilitation, emphasizing the need for improved accuracy and response speed in real-time action detection and recognition in complex rehabilitation scenarios. We propose the STA-C3DL model, a deep learning framework that integrates 3D Convolutional Neural Networks (C3D), Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks, and spatiotemporal attention mechanisms to capture nuanced action dynamics more precisely. Experimental results on multiple datasets, including NTU RGB + D, Smarthome Rehabilitation, UCF101, and HMDB51, show that the STA-C3DL model significantly outperforms existing methods, achieving up to 96.

However, its precise role in tumor cells and the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. This study aimed to investigate the expression patterns, prognostic values, and functional role of SAMHD1 in HCC progression.

Preoperative evaluation of DCISM usually relies on core needle biopsy, and non-invasive evaluation methods are relatively limited. This study aims to explore the features of conventional ultrasound (US) and contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) in DCISM and to analyze the US and clinicopathological predictors of infiltrating components.

But as reactions and outcomes to PD-1 inhibitors combined with chemotherapy vary individually, it is primarily important to identify an ideal indicator for predicting the therapeutic effectiveness in individual patients. Oesophageal cancer (EC) patients often have difficulty eating due to tumour blockage of the oesophagus, leading to malnutrition and muscle loss.

Herein, we introduce a promising alternative to iridium: zinc-doped ruthenium dioxide (TE-Zn/RuO), which exhibits remarkable and enduring activity for acidic OER. characterizations elucidate that the dynamic cycling of zinc dopants serves as both electron acceptors and donors, facilitating the activation of Ru sites at low overpotentials while thwarting peroxidation at high overpotentials, thus concurrently achieving heightened activity and robust stability.

Methods: In this study, 6077 participants were selected from the 2012 Health and Retirement Study (HRS) and the Health Care and Nutrition Study (HCNS) for cross-sectional analyses, and retaining 4882 individuals for longitudinal analyses. Organic food consumption was assessed using a Food Frequency Questionnaire and participants were categorized based on their organic dietary diversity score.
Ruthenium (Ru)-based catalysts have emerged as promising alternatives to Iridium (Ir) catalysts in proton exchange membrane water electrolysis cells due to their lower price and excellent oxygen evolution reaction (OER) activity. However, their stability is compromised by generation of unstable high-valence Ru sites and oxygen vacancy in a lattice oxygen-mediated (LOM) pathway. Here, a low-load Ru site on a Barium (Ba)-doped CoO (RuBaCoO) catalyst is developed with abundant Ruthenium─Cobalt (Ru─Co) pairs for enhanced acidic OER activity.

At present, the matrix interference in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is still a great challenge for multi-residue pesticides analysis. Herein, an alcohol/salt aqueous two-phase system (ATPS) based on n-propanol and (NH)SO was developed by comparing the binodal curve phase diagrams and the extraction rates of pesticides. The specific extraction conditions, including the composition of the ATPS, temperature, pH, and extraction time were explored through single factor experiments, and subsequently optimized using orthogonal array design and response surface methodology.

Piglet weaning is accompanied by gastrointestinal tract (GIT) dysfunction, resulting in post-weaning diarrhea (PWD). The treatment involves antibiotics due to the susceptibility of the weaned GIT to pathogens. However, antibiotic resistance has shifted attitudes toward a nutraceutical approach by enriching feed with functional compounds.
