Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have emerged as a leading photovoltaic technology due to their high efficiency and low cost. Even though they have developed rapidly since their inception, with efficiencies of over 26%, inverted PSCs face challenges such as nonradiative recombination and ion migration. Surface treatment, especially the utilization of organic compounds, has improved efficiency and stability by optimizing the perovskite-charge transport layer interface.

The mitochondrial protein sirtuin 3 (SIRT3) can counteract cell damage caused by oxidative stress and inflammation, and contribute to cell survival primarily by improving mitochondrial function. However, the effects of SIRT3 in dopaminergic neuronal cells (DACs) remain unclear. In our previous studies, microglia activation-associated cytotoxicity was observed to promote the apoptosis of DACs, along with the decrease of SIRT3 expression.

Methods And Results: Seventy-two patients with apical HCM who underwent at least two cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) examinations were retrospectively included in this study.
Myocardial infarction with nonobstructive coronary artery (MINOCA) is a common condition in clinical practice with multiple specific causes, such as plaque rupture, plaque erosion, and epicardial coronary vasospasm. There must be an ischemic mechanism responsible for the myocyte injury and an exclusion of nonischemic mechanisms that can mimic myocardial infarction, and then a diagnosis of MINOCA can be made. Cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) plays an essential role in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of MINOCA, which cannot only exclude myocarditis, Takotsubo syndrome, and cardiomyopathies, but also provide imaging confirmation of acute myocardial infarction.

Purpose To explore and compare the histopathologic characteristics and clinical features and outcomes in patients with myocarditis with and without subendocardial involvement at cardiac MRI. Materials and Methods This retrospective study evaluated 39 patients with myocarditis pathologically proven by means of either endomyocardial biopsy or explant pathologic findings between 2015 and 2020.

Aims: Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) with left ventricular apical aneurysm (LVAA) is associated with an increased risk of adverse cardiovascular events. However, the clinical significance of LVAA in apical HCM (ApHCM) has not been reported. This study aimed to investigate the prevalence, cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) characteristics, and prognosis of LVAA in ApHCM patients.

We aimed to investigate the one that could be the possible contributing factor in patients with bicuspid aortic valve (BAV).
Methods: All enrolled BAV patients underwent four-dimensional flow magnetic resonance imaging.
Objective: To test whether intensive atorvastatin (ATV) increases the efficacy of transplantation with autologous bone marrow mononuclear cells (MNCs) in patients suffering from anterior ST-elevated myocardial infarction (STEMI).
Methods: This clinical trial was under a 2×2 factorial design, enrolling 100 STEMI patients, randomly into four groups of regular (RA) or intensive ATV (IA) with MNCs or placebo. The primary endpoint was the change of left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) at 1-year follow-up from baseline, primarily assessed by MRI.

To uncover adaptation mechanism of Cyclobalanopsis glauca to the arid environment of Karst areas, current-year seedlings of C. glauca were potted and grown under four soil water conditions: Normal water supply (-0.1 MPa), light drought stress (-0.

The trial enrolls a total of 100 patients with anterior ST-elevation myocardial infarction. The subjects are randomly assigned (1:1:1:1) to receive routine ATV (20 mg/d) with placebo or MSCs and intensive ATV (80 mg/d) with placebo or MSCs.

Methods And Results: We searched PubMed and Embase for all published studies that evaluated the diagnostic accuracy of stress myocardial perfusion imaging modalities, including CMR, SPECT, and PET, to diagnose hemodynamically significant CAD with FFR as the reference standard. A total of 28 articles met the inclusion criteria and were included in the meta-analysis: 14 CMR, 13 SPECT, and 5 PET articles.
Microglia activation-mediated neuroinflammation plays an important role in the progression of Parkinson's disease (PD). However, effects of microglia activation on dopaminergic neuronal cell (DAC) fate are still poorly understood. The objective of this study was to explore the neurotoxic effects of microglia activation-mediated oxidative injury in DACs and its possible mechanisms.

Methods: One hundred and sixty-eight consecutive patients with MI who underwent GSPECT and GPET were included. Of them, 76 patients underwent CMR in addition to the two imaging modalities.
Background: Prostaglandin E1 (P) or methylcobalamin (M) treatment has been suggested as a therapeutic approach for diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) in many clinical trial reports. However, the combined effects of 2 drugs still remain dubious.
Objective: The aim of this report was to evaluate the efficacy of M plus P (M + P) for the treatment of DPN compared with that of P monotherapy, in order to provide a reference resource for rational drug use.
Aims: The aim of this study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of percutaneous closure in patients with a ruptured sinus of Valsalva aneurysm (RSVA).
Methods And Results: A total of 29 patients with RSVA were retrospectively enrolled in our study. All patients were successfully treated by percutaneous closure and had a complete closure at discharge; however, two patients had a trivial procedure-related aortic regurgitation (AR) after the procedure.
Background: The relationship between myocardial viability and angiographic collateral flow is not fully elucidated in ischemic cardiomyopathy (ICM) with coronary artery chronic total occlusion (CTO). We aimed to clarify the relationship between myocardial hibernation, myocardial scar, and angiographic collateral flow in these patients.
Methods And Results: Seventy-one consecutive ICM patients with 122 CTOs and 652 dysfunctional segments within CTO territories were retrospectively analyzed.
