Article Synopsis
  • The study looked at patients with brain arteriovenous malformations (BAVMs) who were treated with a special type of radiation called stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) from 2010 to 2019.
  • Researchers found that certain factors, like the size of the brain problem and the amount of radiation given, affected how well the treatment worked and if patients had bleeding afterward.
  • The conclusions suggest that higher radiation doses can help improve treatment results, but more research is needed to find the best candidates and radiation levels for patients.
