Background: Eating disorders (EDs) have increasingly become a public health problem globally, especially among children and adolescents.

Aim: To estimate the burden of EDs in children and adolescents (ages 5-19 years) at the global, regional, and national levels.

Methods: Retrieved from Global Burden of Disease Study 2019 for EDs, including anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa, we extracted the disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) and prevalence rates with 95% uncertainty intervals between 1990-2019.

This study compared the graft outcomes and complications of endoscopic cartilage inlay myringoplasty with preservation of anterior margins (IPAM) and the cartilage underlay technique with raising the tympanomeatal flap (CUTF) for repairing large anterior perforations. In total, 55 patients with large anterior perforations were recruited and allocated to the IPAM (n = 28) or the CUTF (n = 27) group. The graft success rate, hearing gain, operation time, and postoperative complications were compared between the groups at 12 months.

In this study, we redefine the diagnostic landscape of diabetic ulcers (DUs), a major diabetes complication. Our research uncovers new biomarkers linked to immunogenic cell death (ICD) in DUs by utilizing RNA-sequencing data of Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) analysis combined with a comprehensive database interrogation. Employing a random forest algorithm, we have developed a diagnostic model that demonstrates improved accuracy in distinguishing DUs from normal tissue, with satisfactory results from ROC analysis.

Two organometallic complexes with two and three-dimensional architectures were constructed by using multiple ligands and Zn(ii) ions: [Zn(BTC)(DTP)(HO)]·(HO) (Zn-1) (BTC = benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxylic acid and DTP = 3,5-di(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)pyridine) and [Zn(NTD)(DTP)] (Zn-2) (NTD = 1,4-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid).
