Background: Bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV) is a significant cause of bovine respiratory disease, resulting in significant losses to the cattle industry. For rapid detection of BRSV, a real-time recombinase-aided isothermal amplification assay (qRT-RAA) based on the gene of BRSV was developed in this study.

Results: The developed qRT-RAA assay showed good exponential amplification of the target fragment in 20 min at a constant temperature of 39 °C.

This study examined the efficacy and mechanisms of action of the antimicrobial peptide BP15 and its lipopeptides, HBP15 and LBP15, against , the primary causative agent of green mold in citrus fruits. The findings revealed that all three antimicrobial peptides markedly inhibited the spore germination and mycelial growth of , with minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) of 3.12 μM for BP15, HBP15, and LBP15.

Plateau acclimatization involves adaptive changes in the body's neurohumoral regulation and metabolic processes due to hypoxic conditions at high altitudes. This study utilizes Olink targeted proteomics to analyze serum protein expression differences in Han Chinese individuals acclimatized for 6 months-1 year at 4500 and 5300 m altitudes, compared to those residing at sea level. Lignin is a natural phenolic polymer characterized with renewable, sustainable and biocompatible, but yet remain underutilized. To explore potential anti-inflammatory lead compounds, ten new physalin steroids, including three neophysalins (1, 4, and 9) and seven physalins (2, 3, 5-8, and 10), along with eleven known analogs, were isolated from an ethanol extract of the calyx of Physalis alkekengi. The new structures were rigorously determined through comprehensive HRESIMS, 1D/2D-NMR, and X-ray diffraction analysis. Among these compounds, 1 was identified as a new 1,10-seco-neophysalin, and 2 was identified as a new 11,15-cyclo-9,10-seco-physalin characterized by an aromatic A-ring.

This study presents the indium-mediated three-component radical Reformatsky-type allylation of --butanesulfinyl iminoester with 1,3-butadiene. Radiotherapy and immunotherapy have already become the primary form of treatment for non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC), but are limited by high radiotherapy dose and low immune response rate. Herein, a multi-pronged strategy using a radio-immuno-enhancer (ZnO-Au@mSiO) is developed by inducing tumor cells apoptosis and reprograming the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment (TME). The radio-immuno-enhancer employed Au as a radiosensitizer, transition Zn ions as immune activators, which not only tremendously enhances the anti-proliferative activity of radiotherapy toward cancer cells, but also activates the immune response with multi-targets to let "exhausted" T cells "back to life" by triggering immunogenic cell death (ICD), immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) that target PD-1/PD-L1 and cGAS-STING under X-ray irradiation with a low dosage.

The essence of chemical bonding is the electromagnetic interaction between atoms, which makes it possible to directly manipulate the dynamic behavior of molecules and electrons in catalytic processes using external electric, magnetic and electromagnetic fields.
