High-quality panoramic images with a Field of View (FoV) of 360° are essential for contemporary panoramic computer vision tasks. However, conventional imaging systems come with sophisticated lens designs and heavy optical components. This disqualifies their usage in many mobile and wearable applications where thin and portable, minimalist imaging systems are desired.

Introduction: Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a common, chronic, recurrent inflammatory skin disease. To date, no meta-analysis have been conducted on the prevalence and risk factors of AD in children aged 1-7 years in Mainland China.
Methods: We conducted a meta-analysis of the prevalence and risk factors of AD among children aged 1-7 years in China.
Fragrant peanut oils (FPOs) are commonly defined as edible peanut oils having strong natural roasted peanut flavor without peculiar unpleasant odors and produced from peanut kernels through roasting/steaming and pressing operations, etc. The flavor of FPOs plays a crucial role in their acceptability and applications and their flavor profiles are an important factor in determining their overall quality. This paper presents a systematic literature review of recent advances and knowledge on FPOs, especially their flavors, in which it is focused on the evaluation of volatile compounds, the factors influencing the formation of flavor compounds, and formation mechanisms of those typical flavor compounds.

Background: Axillary lymph node (ALN) status is a crucial prognostic indicator for breast cancer metastasis, with manual interpretation of whole slide images (WSIs) being the current standard practice. However, this method is subjective and time-consuming. Recent advancements in deep learning-based methods for medical image analysis have shown promise in improving clinical diagnosis.

RIF-related long non-coding RNA (lncRNA), microRNA (miRNA) and messenger RNA (mRNA) from the high-throughput gene expression omnibus (GEO) database Expression profile data set were obtained to construct a ceRNA regulatory network of lncRNA-miRNA-mRNA. At the same time, weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) was used to explore hub genes in the network.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFTriple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a highly aggressive type of breast cancer with poor prognosis, and neoadjuvant therapy (NAT) has emerged as an important component in managing advanced-stage patients by providing surgical opportunities and improving survival outcomes. A search of publications on NAT for TNBC from 2002 to 2023 was conducted through the Web of Science core collection. A comprehensive bibliometric analysis was conducted on the data using CiteSpace, VOSviewer, and Bibliometrix.

Background: This study was to explore the relationship between cardiovascular health (CVH) and the risk of all-cause mortality in patients with osteoarthritis (OA).
Methods: This cohort study retrieved the data of 3642 patients with OA aged ≥ 20 years from the 2007-2018 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). CVH was evaluated based on Life's Essential 8 (LE8) includes diet, physical activity, nicotine exposure, sleep health, body mass index, blood lipids, blood glucose, and blood pressure.
A total of 392 patients with seasonal allergic rhinitis were selected from the population of the epidemiological investigation project of allergic diseases in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. The project was led by Department of Allergy, Beijing Shijitan Hospital, Capital Medical University, and assisted by Hohhot First Hospital from April to May 2023. The patients were randomly divided into a spleen aminopeptide group (296 cases) and control group (96 cases) at a ratio of 3∶1, and the enrollment period was from June 1 to 14, 2023.

Methods: GSE69223 was used to identify potential targets differentially expressed between level 2 of pT staging (pT2) and level 3 of pT staging (pT3).
Purpose: Develop a universal lesion recognition algorithm for PET/CT and PET/MRI, validate it, and explore factors affecting performance.
Procedures: The 2022 AutoPet Challenge's 1014 PET/CT dataset was used to train the lesion detection model based on 2D and 3D fractional-residual (F-Res) models. To extend this to PET/MRI, a network for converting MR images to synthetic CT (sCT) was developed, using 41 sets of whole-body MR and corresponding CT data.
Objectives: Anti-signal recognition particle (SRP) antibodies, markers of immune-mediated necrotising myopathy, are reportedly related to cardiac involvement; however, whether they are pathogenic to the myocardium remains unclear. We aimed, therefore, to explore the pathogenicity of anti-SRP antibodies against the myocardium through and studies.
Methods: Total immunoglobulin G (IgG), purified from patients with positive anti-SRP antibodies, was passively transferred into C57BL/6 mice.
Materials for radiation detection are critically important and urgently demanded in diverse fields, starting from fundamental scientific research to medical diagnostics, homeland security, and environmental monitoring. Low-dimensional halides (LDHs) exhibiting efficient self-trapped exciton (STE) emission with high photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) have recently shown a great potential as scintillators. However, an overlooked issue of exciton-exciton interaction in LDHs under ionizing radiation hinders the broadening of its radiation detection applications.

Despite experimental evidence of TEB metabolism in mammals, the enantioselectivity in the biotransformation of R- and S-TEB enantiomers by specific CYP450s remains elusive. In this work, integrated in silico simulations were employed to unveil the binding interactions and enantioselective metabolic fate of TEB enantiomers within human CYP1A2, 2B6, 2E1, and 3A4.
