The formation of a functional tibial stump after combat injuries with extensive tissue damage is sometimes difficult. We describe a case of reconstruction of the tibial stump after a mine-blast injury. In this case, the fibula was completely removed as a result of fracture, and the tibia was amputated at the border of the upper and middle thirds.

Aim: To familiarize specialists with the possibility of simultaneous bilateral stress fractures of amputation residual limbs resulting from intensive loads and poor-quality prosthetics causing chronic compartment syndrome. A case of bilateral stress fractures of the tibia in a 28-year-old male military serviceman with paired transtibial amputation is presented.
Aim: To propose a new technique of Ertl-type surgery for significantly shortened and valgus deviated fibula stump.
Methods: We present the case of a 26-year-old patient who underwent reamputation surgery to replace a significantly shortened fibula stump using a distraction regenerate formed after tibial stump osteotomy and dosed distraction of the autograft using the Ilizarov apparatus. Its advantage is the elimination of valgus deviation of the fibula remnant, its lengthening, formation of bone synostosis, and increase of the bearing surface, which provides the possibility of total contact prosthetics.
The creation of a functional tibial stump after combat injuries is sometimes too difficult. We describe a case of high amputation after a mine-blast injury. In this case, the tibia stump was too short (5 cm) and the fibula stump was too long (12 cm).

Its advantage is that there is no need to shorten bone. The establishment of distal tibia-fibula synostosis (Ertl) in patients with transtibial amputation has been advocated to improve function and prosthetic wear.

Aim: To propose a modification of the Ertl operation in the proximal tibia.
Case Presentation: The technique of bone bridge creation in a patient with a malformed stump in the upper third of the tibia at the expense of the regenerate formed after corticotomy of the tibial remnant and dosed distraction of the graft by the Ilizarov apparatus is described.
Aim: To study the peculiarities of peroneal stump remodelling after transtibial amputation in the process of prosthesis usage.
Material And Methods: A histological study of the ends of the stumps of the fibula in 68 patients was performed. Terms after amputation: 2-8 years.
Aim To study the character of blood circulation in the bone stump at tight and loose closure of the medullary cavity. Methods Two series of experiments on 39 rabbits with mid-third femoral amputation and muscular plasty were carried out. In the 1st (experimental) series, the bone scapula was closed by thin cortical autograft taken from the epimetaphyseal area, and then the muscles were sutured, and in the 2nd - the scapula was closed by myoplasty only.

Methods Three series of experiments were carried out with amputation of the thigh in the middle third and muscle plasty. In the 1st and 2nd experimental series a perineural catheter was brought to the stump of the sciatic nerve, through which mechanical irritation of the nerve was performed for 20 days daily for 20 minutes.

To analise the contemporary condition and the latest trends in combating this type of crimes and to justify the need for creation of a complex criminalistic methodic investigation.
Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: Аnalysis of the applicable laws governing trade in medical products in Ukraine; judgments of courts of Ukraine for the period from 2013 to 2022; results of generalization of 128 criminal proceedings; active employee survey results (205 respondents) etc.
Unlabelled: The involvement of commensals and opportunistic pathogens and the role of protective mechanisms in the development of dental diseases in children with cystic fibrosis require more detailed study.
Aim: The aim of the study was to determine the ecological characteristics of the oral microbiota and some antimicrobial factors of saliva in children with mucoviscidosis.
Materials And Methods: The study involved an assessment of oral microbiota as complex ecological system that protects the human body from colonization by pathogenic flora in children with cystic fibrosis.
Objective: The aim: To formulate criminalistic recommendations to increase the effectiveness of combating falsification and contribution of falsified medicines. To accomplish analyze of the current state and trends in combating this criminal offense, to create the basis of criminalistic characteristics and methods of their investigation, taking into account the results of the generalization of judicial investigative practice and foreign experience.
Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: The examine and analysis of results and generalization of 128 criminal proceedings of such criminal offenses, court decisions for the period 2012- 2020; questionnaires of practical workers (205 people); results of generalization and analysis of published materials of investigative and judicial practice; foreign experience in combating falsification of medicines, etc.
Objective: The aim: To study the influence of biomechanical factors on the character of morphological disorders in the process of reparative regeneration at the end of the residual limb after amputation.
Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: 10 series of experiments on 144 rabbits were conducted. We used myodesis with normal, insufficient and excessive muscle tension, their electrical stimulation, tight and leaky closure of the bone marrow canal.
Aim To investigate rehabilitation outcomes of patients with malformed tibial stumps. Methods Observations included 421 patients with residual limb diseases and malformations (extensive inactive scars adhered to the bone, excessively long or short stumps, bone filing, osteomyelitis of the stump, muscle attachment to the skin scar, excessive mobility and deviations of the fibula, improper filing). Four hundred and thirty-six (436) reconstructive surgeries were performed.

Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: 3 series of experiments were carried out on 44 rabbits with amputation of the thigh in the middle third and stump grafting using osteoplastic hermetic closure of the canal with a thin cortical plate (series I), closure of the canal with a spongy bone (series II), and loose closure of the canal with a cortical graft located at the entrance to the canal at an angle of 30° (ІІІ series). Observation period: 1, 3, 6 months.
Objective: The aim: To review scientific literature dealing with evaluation of medical rehabilitation effectiveness and quality in the world.
Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: Review and generalization of scientific literature on the criteria of evaluation of medical rehabilitation quality in advanced industrialized societies.
Conclusion: Conclusions: Despite differences in the structure of medical rehabilitation in world societies, the end point is similar - assessment of quality of life of a sick person, measured by various criteria and standards.

The purpose of the study is to analyze certain aspects of the legal regulation of the examination of medicines containing narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, or precursors in the field of customs. To achieve this goal, we analyzed the number of customs examinations carried out, new narcotic compounds identified for the first time. An analysis of the understanding of the definition "examination" and "customs examination" in the scientific literature.

To achieve this goal, statistics have been analyzed concerning the number of people who receive narcotic drugs for the SMT program, the number of their treatment applications, the quantity of drugs purchased for them from the state budget. It is proposed to divide the regulatory legal acts regulating the purchase of narcotic drugs, general and special, and analyze them.

Immersion chemical disinfection for 15 min, microwave disinfection at 354 W for 10 minutes and combined disinfection with the power of 319 W for 4 minutes did not significantly affect the volumetric dimensional accuracy of the alginate impressions (P > 0.05).

Introduction: Human papillomavirus (HPV) induce many cancer conditions and cause cervical cancer, second in frequency of malignant disease in women. The aim was to develop biomarker panel for HPV-induced cervical precancerous diseases in patients infected with herpes simplex virus (HSV).
Material And Methods: The study involved 71 women with cervical precancerous diseases (mean age 26 ± 5 years) revealed by colposcopic, cytomorphological, and ultrasound signs which were assessed according to the following: first group, 44 patients infected with HPV; second group, 27 HPV-negative patients; and third group, 30 healthy patients (controls).
In this laboratory experimental investigation estimated the influence of two methods of disinfection on the alteration of dimensional stability of silicone impressions and gypsum casts poured from them comparing to an invariable parameters of the metal die that calls "Etalon 2". There were made the matches between traditional method of chemical disinfection and the physical method of microwave energy using the plant with flowing regulation of the power of microwave radiation which calls "micro-UndaDent".
