is a highly infectious gram-negative bacterium that causes tularemia in humans and animals. It can survive and multiply in a variety of cells, including macrophages, dendritic cells, amoebae, and arthropod-derived cells. However, the intracellular life cycle of a bacterium varies depending on the cell type.

AMPs can serve as biomarkers and alternative antibiotics, overcoming mortality related to multidrug-resistant pathogens in urinary tract infections (UTIs). While the relevance of AMPs in UTIs has been validated and AMP drugs approved by the US Food and Drug Administration are in clinical use, information about their modification status, regulation, and mechanism of action remains sparse.

UTI triggers diverse inflammatory reactions locally in the infected urinary bladder and kidney, causing tissue destruction and organ failure. Moreover, systemic responses in the entire body carry the risk of urosepsis with far-reaching consequences.

Its impairment in humans can result in severe diseases named congenital disorders of glycosylation (CDGs). Most of the glycosyltransferases (GTs) responsible for proper glycosylation are polytopic membrane proteins that represent challenging targets in proteomics.

Methods: A comprehensive search was conducted in various databases until November 2022. Eligible studies included clinical trials on patients with HF.
Background: The armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine resulted in the destruction of the country's infrastructure and a decline in the standard of living for many citizens (e.g. shortages of electricity and safe drinking water, limited access to healthcare, living in unsuitable cold basements).

Patients And Methods: Materials and Methods: At the first stage, we conducted a retrospective examination of 50 pregnant women treated at Ternopil Municipal Hospital No.2 (Ukraine) between November 2020 and January 2022 with the history of COVID-19, confirmed by PCR test, and 25 pregnant COVID-19 negative pregnant women (control group).
Objective: The aim: To study the features of legal regulation of preventing conflicts of interest in the healthcare field in foreign countries in order to propose improvements to national legislation.
Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: The methodological basis of the article is a set of methods and techniques of scientific knowledge. Methods of theoretical analysis, system-analytical, comparative-legal methods provided us with the opportunity to characterize the features of the legal regulation of preventing conflicts of interest in the area under study.
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and its outcomes remain one of the most challenging problems today. COVID-19 in children could be asymptomatic, but can result in a fatal outcome; therefore, predictions of the disease severity are important. The goal was to investigate the human genetic factors that could be associated with COVID-19 severity in children.

To estimate its role in aspects of the main risk factors and comorbidities, we involved post-COVID-19 patients in Ternopil region (Ukraine). The recruitment period was from July 2020 to December 2021.

Methods Three series of experiments were carried out with amputation of the thigh in the middle third and muscle plasty. In the 1st and 2nd experimental series a perineural catheter was brought to the stump of the sciatic nerve, through which mechanical irritation of the nerve was performed for 20 days daily for 20 minutes.

The role of endothelial cells in this acute response is remarkable and may remain important beyond the acute phase. As we move into a post-COVID-19 era (where most people have been or will be infected by the SARS-CoV-2 virus), it is crucial to define the vascular consequences of COVID-19, including the long-term effects on the cardiovascular system.

The experiment carried out in 2021 and 2022 on treated with sodium selenate or nano-Se sprayed on foliar apparatus demonstrated a significant increase in photosynthetic pigments, pectin, waxes, macro- and microelements and a decrease in malonic dialdehyde (MDA) accumulation. Contrary to literature reports, neither selenate nor nano-Se showed a beneficial effect on essential oil accumulation; the oil yield did not differ between the selenate treated and control plants but was halved by the nano-Se application.

The determination of total antioxidant activity (AOA) and polyphenol content (TP) in the bark of 58 tree and shrub species from 7 regions differing in mean annual temperature, insolation, humidity, salinity level, and altitude was performed. The above stress factors positively affected bark AOA but did not have a statistically significant effect on TP.

The compositions of the resulting ternary latex copolymers were varied in terms of both "soft" (HOSBM, BA) and "rigid" (MMA or St) macromolecular fragments, while total monomer conversion and molecular weight of copolymers were determined after synthesis.

To achieve its own replication and spread, it simultaneously depends on and subverts cellular mechanisms. At the early stage of infection, SARS-CoV-2 expresses the viral nonstructural protein 1 (NSP1), which inhibits host translation by blocking the mRNA entry tunnel on the ribosome; this interferes with the binding of cellular mRNAs to the ribosome.

Methods: Male Wistar rats were used. The differences were compared based on lesion visual appearance, skinfold thickness, white blood cell count (WBC), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), blood serum prooxidant-antioxidant balance (thiobarbituric acid reactive substances, TBARS; supersoxide dismutase, SOD; catalase, KAT), blood cytokine profile (TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-10, and IL-4), and histological examination of affected skin.
