The new approach for modeling kinetics of complex spatial self-propagating traveling-wave reactions is proposed. This approach is intended to replace well-known reaction-diffusion equations and self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) as methods for mathematical modeling of spatial propagation of chemical reactions. A chemical kinetic model for frontal polymerization of metal-containing monomers under this approach is suggested.

Materials And Methods: A genealogical analysis was carried out in 74 adult patients with PID and 200 adults without this condition, by examining groups of signs in the relatives in at least 4 generations, the genealogical markers were an atypical infectious and inflammatory process; allergic diseases; autoimmune diseases; the presence of relatives with cancers; cases of reproductive dysfunction; deaths from infectious diseases and/or cancers in children; and congenital malformations. The percentage of relatives with the above genealogical markers of the total number of the relatives in 4 generations was used as an indicator.
Aim: Search of association of polymorphisms in DEFB1, IL-10, TNF-α and TLR2 genes with development of chronic generalized periodontitis in representatives of Ural region (Caucasian race).
Materials And Methods: 142 patients, that were split into 3 groups, took part in the study: a group of patients with periodontitis, a group with frequent inflammatory disease of upper respiratory tract and a comparison group--healthy donors. A study of polymorphic markers was carried out: DEFB1 (-44G/C), DEFB1 (-20A/G), IL-10 (-1082.
Due to the massive pollution of the Techa-Iset river system with the radioactive sewage of the Mayak industrial association in the 1950s, the factors responsible for the incidence of diseases were studied in 5 districts of the Kurgan Region along the territory of which rivers flow. There is a direct relationship of children's morbidity to ambient air pollution. The determinants of adult morbidity are air pollution and water quality.

The children mostly commonly have diseases of the endocrine and nervous systems, sensory and respiratory organs. The adults have predominantly neoplasms, diseases of the nervous, digestive, and urogenital systems and sensory organs.

Great morbidity is favoured by toxicosis during maternal second-half pregnancy, the poor health status of neonatal babies at birth and by the end of the first year of life, going to the nurseries where vegetable and calorie diets are not observed, the location of kindergartens in the areas with high traffic, high ambient air pollution with sulfuric anhydride and acid, and with substandard drinking water quality. Lower morbidity in children is in turn promoted by greater quantities of vegetables and fruits in the meals both at home and in the nurseries and kindergartens, over 2-month breast feeding, no adverse working conditions in their parents, as well as implementation of conditioning procedures in children.

The most significant factors were blood pressure in the orbital artery-central retinal artery system and perfusion ocular pressure, but not blood flow velocity. The leading factor indicating the risk of progress of optic neuropathy in primary glaucoma is ocular perfusion pressure.

This is a large industrial center of the mid-Urals, where enterprises of ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy, power engineering. Intensive chemical and radiation pollutions of Kamensk-Ural'skiy have an adverse impact on its population's health, which is manifested by higher morbidity rates among both children and adolescents.

Doppler shift of frequency spectrum was detected in the central retinal artery, which is typical of the ischemic syndrome of the eye. Its characteristics include decreased diastolic component of velocity and increased resistance index.

The risk factors are inadequate intraocular pressure (IOP) and insufficient blood supply to the optic nerve and retina. For stabilizing the glaucomatous process, IOP is to be reduced below 14 mm Hg.

Structural and functional state of myocardium was assessed echocardiographically. Enzymatic and non-enzymatic LPO, catalase and superoxide-dismutase activity were analyzed in erythrocytes.

The concentration of atrial natriuretic factor was found to vary with the left ventricular myocardial mass, left atrial contractility, antiarrhythmic therapy intensity and efficacy.

It is concluded that the nature of cortisol elimination may reflect the natural history and prediction of myocardial infarction. In terms of the body tissue demand, two type of elimination are identified: retarded (a favorable type) and accelerated (an unfavorable type).

The changes in the structural and functional parameters of the hypertensive heart were found to be associated with its endocrine function. A course therapy of patients with essential hypertension with nifedipine in individually based doses caused a significant rise in plasma ANF levels, a normalization of cardiac compensatory mechanism function.

Optic disk staining grew more intensive, visual field widened, and vision acuity improved after such surgery. Results of fluorescent angiography of the fundus oculi and ultrasonic dopplerography evidence an essential improvement of the blood stream in the central retinal artery after the operation.

As a result of clinico-physiological examinations 643 patients suffering from cerebral atherosclerosis were divided into 3 groups by the severity of atherosclerosis of the cerebral vessels. These patients also exhibited atherosclerosis of the coronary and retinal vessels. Mathematical methods have been used to study the relationship and severity of atherosclerosis of the cerebral, coronary and retinal vessels.

It was found that the functional condition of the hypophyseal-thyroid system in patients with angina of effort differs essentially from that in patients with myocardial infarction. The behavior of the thyroid system in myocardial infarction is equivocal and correlates with the character of the course followed by the disease.
