The objective of this study was to evaluate the prevalence of CD among patients presenting for pediatric rheumatology evaluation.
Methods: A total of 2125 patients presenting for initial evaluation by the Division of Pediatric Rheumatology at the Hospital for Special Surgery between June 2006 and December 2013 were screened for CD as a part of the standard initial serologic evaluation.

Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed of the medical records of 114 lymphoma patients who presented with peripheral lymphadenopathy and superficial masses and who underwent diagnostic image-guided biopsy. There were 69 non-Hodgkin lymphoma patients, 38 Hodgkin lymphoma patients, and 7 patients who were evaluated for histologic transformation of CLL or high grade lymphoma.
Background: Bowel preparation prior to colonic surgery usually includes antibiotic therapy together with mechanical bowel preparation (MBP). Mechanical bowel preparation may cause discomfort to the patient, prolonged hospitalization, and water and electrolyte imbalance. The diagnosis of recurrent aspiration in young children is problematic because there is no specific gold standard test to be used. In the present work, normal saline or a suspension of white polystyrene microspheres in normal saline was instilled into hamsters' trachea (n = 42), and bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) cytology, microsphere index (total microspheres/100 macrophages), and lung histology were followed for 90 d.
