In this study, we evaluated the pharmacokinetic interactions of rotundic acid with pedunculoside and other ingredients from Ilicis Rotundae Cortex with rotundic acid and pedunculoside, and preliminarily investigated the effects of gut microbiota on their pharmacokinetics using a pseudo-germ-free rat model.
