Background: In a response to the lack of public awareness of dementia, 'ageing in place' and 'dementia-friendly community' policies have been proposed, and a number of relevant studies have been carried out.
Aim: To map the evidence of public help for people with dementia in the community.
Design: A scoping review.
Background: Despite decades of educational efforts, patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS) remain delayed in seeking medical care, which becomes the greatest obstacle to the successful management of the condition.
Objective: To systematically explore the incidence and influencing factors of pre-hospital care-seeking delay in acute ischemic stroke patients.
Methods: We systematically searched the PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, and Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature from database inception to September 30, 2023.
Background: Multiple studies have shown that spouses of people with dementia (PwD) are two to six times more likely to develop dementia compared to the general population. Encouraging healthy behaviours and addressing modifiable risk factors could potentially prevent or delay up to 40% of dementia cases. However, little is known about how health behaviours change when a spouse assumes the role of primary caregiver.

Providing care for an individual with dementia is emotionally and physically demanding, particularly due to the frequent manifestation of behavioral and psychological symptoms associated with dementia (BPSD). This underscores the crucial need to comprehend and address caregivers' emotional expression (EE).

Finding an intervention to increase nursing students' classroom engagement is critical to improving learning outcomes.
Objectives: To explore the impact of a grouping intervention using the Felder-Silverman Learning Style Model (FSLSM) on PBL in nursing education, including classroom engagement, critical thinking, self-directed learning skills, and academic performance.
Aim: To map evidence of the existing virtual reality-based dementia educational programmes and the effects of these educational programmes on dementia formal and informal caregivers.
Design: A scoping review.
Methods: A comprehensive search of nine databases was conducted to find studies from the inception of the databases to October 2023.
Background: Advance care planning is typically initiated during the last six months of a patient's life. However, due to the progressive decline in the decision-making process in individuals with dementia, their involvement in advance care planning is limited to the early stages of the disease. Currently, there is no consensus on the optimal timing for initiating advance care planning for people with dementia, and a comprehensive review of the literature addressing this matter is lacking.

Methods: A synthesis of qualitative studies retrieved from eight databases that were published before September 2022. Two reviewers independently screened and selected studies.
Background: Due to the time-dependent effect of specific risk factors for dementia, multidomain interventions based on a life-course model might achieve optimal preventive effects against dementia.
Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of multidomain interventions based on a life-course model of modifiable risk factors for dementia in at-risk Chinese older adults.
Design: This was a two-arm, proof-of-concept, randomized controlled trial.
Purpose: Genetic testing is the gold standard for the diagnosis of hereditary colorectal cancer syndromes but is currently inadequate and nonideal. The decision-making processes regarding genetic testing are even less well known. The present study aims to explore the decision-making experience of genetic testing for colorectal cancer patients and their family members.
