Background: With the development of surgical techniques and medical equipment, the mortality rate of off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) has been declining year by year, but there is a lack of convenient and accurate predictive models. This study aims to use two nomograms to predict 30-day mortality after off-pump CABG.
Methods: Patients with isolated off-pump CABG from January 2016 to January 2021 were consecutively enrolled.
This study aimed to observe the mechanism and effect of circ_0004771 on cardiomyocyte injury in acute myocardial infarction (AMI). The differences in circ_0004771 expression in the blood of AMI patients and healthy volunteers were observed by Real-Time Quantitative Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction. AMI cell models were constructed by hypoxia/reoxygenation (H/R)-induced injury in human cardiomyocytes (AC16 cells).

A low radiation dose rate can be achieved using a sufficiently thick scintillator layer to absorb the incident X-ray energy completely, however, often at the expense of low spatial resolution due to the issue of optical crosstalk of scintillation light. Therefore, to achieve high sensitivity combined with high-resolution imaging, a thick scintillator with perfect light guiding properties is in high demand.

Background: The aberrantly increased proliferation and migration of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) was critically associated with atherosclerosis (AS) progression. MiR-197-3p has been confirmed to regulate various biological processes, such as tumorigenesis; however, whether miR-197-3p is involved with the pathological development of AS remains largely unknown.
Methods: The serum levels of miR-197-3p in AS patients and healthy donors were determined by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assay.

The brazing of Titanium alloy to Aluminum alloy is of great significance for lightweight application, but the stable surface oxide film limits it. In our work, the surface oxide film was removed by the ion bombardment, the deposited Cu layer by magnetron sputtering was selected as an interlayer, and then the contact reactive brazing of TC4 alloy to Al7075 alloy was realized. The microstructure and joining properties of TC4/Al7075 joints obtained under different parameters were observed and tested, respectively.

In this work, we successfully synthesized Ca(II) doped β-InS hierarchical structures stacked by thin nanosheets by a simple solution chemical process. The effects of reaction temperature and Ca concentration on the size and morphology of the products were systematically investigated.

Graphene-like two-dimensional layered materials have attracted quite a lot of interest because of their sizable band gaps and potential applications. In this work, monodisperse tin disulfide (SnS2) nanosheets were successfully prepared by a simple solvothermal procedure in the presence of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP). Large PVP molecules absorbing on (001) facets of SnS2 would inhibit crystal growth along [001] orientation and protect the product from agglomeration.

The obtained hierarchical structures constructed by tiny nanosheets are doughnut-like flat ellipsoids with concaves in the centres, and with typical sizes of 1.3 μm in length, 800 nm in width and 400 nm in thickness.
