Industrial pollution and the associated spatial environmental inequality increase health risks and hinder sustainable development, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. Large-scale public transportation infrastructure that connects developed and developing cities, exemplified by high-speed railway (HSR), has the potential to be an effective instrument. Here, we provide nationwide micro-level estimates for the overall and distributional environmental impacts of HSR in a middle-income context.

Intratumoral Injection Administration of Irinotecan-Loaded Microspheres: In Vitro and In Vivo Evaluation.

To reduce the toxic and side effects of intravenous chemotherapeutic drugs on the tumor-patients, the aims of this study were to design and study intratumor-administrated irinotecan-loaded PLGA microspheres (CPT-11-PLGA-MS) in vitro and in vivo according to the structure characteristics of CPT-11. PLGA microspheres containing irinotecan were prepared by emulsion solvent evaporation method and evaluated in terms of their morphology, particle size analysis, in vitro drug release, drug retention and leakage studies in vivo, and pharmacodynamics studies. The CPT-11-PLGA-MS were spherical with mean size of 9.

Methods: SGPS2 was purified by DEAE-cellulose and Sephadex G-200 column chromatography, the component and structure of SGPS2 were analyzed on the basis of spectral and chemical studies by HPLC, IR analysis, partial hydrolysis with acid, methylation analysis, GC and 13C-NMR.

[Clinical application of medial neurocutaneous flap with perforator vessel in upper arm].

Objective: To report the application of medial neurocutaneous flap with perforator vessel in upper arm.

Methods: Based on the perforator vessel of medial deep main blood vessel in upper arm and blood supply of neurocutaneous flap, as well as their interrelation with vascularity of fascia skin, we designed the medial neurocutaneous flap with perforator vessel in upper arm to repair skin defects in shoulder, arm and elbow joint in 5 cases.

Results: All the flaps survived completely with primary healing.
