Purpose: To describe the clinical and imaging characteristics of Herlyn-Werner-Wunderlich syndrome (HWWS).

Methods: This study presented an observational case series involving consecutive patients diagnosed with HWWS, whose medical records were retrospectively reviewed. From June 2012 to December 2022, there were a total of 85 patients with HWWS enrolled in our study.

To prepare AS1411 targeted nano-ultrasonic contrast agent with liquid core, and to evaluate its ability for ultrasonic contrast enhancement and targeting MCF-7 cell in vitro.
 Methods: The modified solvent evaporation, self-synthesized membrane material and perfluorobrominane (PFOB) was used to form nano-ultrasonic contrast agent with PFOB core (nanoparticles, NP); then N-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-N'-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride and N-hydroxysuccinimide (EDC/NHS) catalysis was used to connect AS1411 to the surface of NP to prepare NP-AS1411. The transmission electron microscopy was chosen to check the morphology of NP-AS1411.

We used PLGA-COOH and PLGA-PEG-COOH blended polymer material to encapsulate perfluorooctyl bromide to prepare nanocapsules (NCs) as nano-ultrasound contrast agents. The aim of this study was to assess the effect of PLGA-PEG proportion on the physical, biological and acoustic characteristics of the nanocapsules, and to develop optimal nanocapsules for selective ultrasound contrast enhancement in tumors. The weight ratio of PLGA-PEG in the formulation was 0, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%, and the corresponding nanocapsules were designated NCs, NCs NCs NCs and NCs.

Perfluorooctyl bromide (PFOB) enclosed nanoparticles (NPs) as ultrasonic contrasts have shown promising results in the recent years. However, NPs display poor contrast enhancement in vivo. In this work, we used the copolymers poly(lactide-co-glycolide) carboxylic acid (PLGA-COOH) and poly(lactide-co- glycolide) poly(ethylene glycol) carboxylic acid (PLGA-PEG-COOH) as a shell to encapsulate PFOB to prepare a nanoultrasonic contrast agent.

Objective: To explore the ultrasound characteristics of intramural pregnancy and evaluate its diagnostic value.

Methods: Intramural pregnancy was diagnosed by endoluminal ultrasonography and confirmed by surgery and pathological examination in 6 patients. The position of the gestational sac, ultrasound findings, distribution of color Doppler flow signals were observed and analyzed together with their surgical and pathological results based on literature review.
