Background: Breast cancer CTCs have recently been recognized as an emerging biomarker for liquid biopsy of breast cancer. In this work, based on two-dimensional (2D) noble metal PtCo@rGO nanozymes and Au@CNTs bioconjugates, a novel electrochemiluminescence (ECL) cytosensor was developed in order to detect breast cancer CTCs (MCF-7) ultrasensitively.
Results: The PtCo@rGO nanozymes possessed large specific surface area and high efficiency peroxidase-like activity, which can be used as nanocarriers to anchor and catalyze luminol ECL emission efficiently.
Background: Systemic immune dysregulation correlates with cancer progression. However, the clinical implications of systemic immune dysregulation in early non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) remain unclear.
Methods: Using a panel of 9 markers to identify 12 parameters in the peripheral blood of 326 patients (34 in the discovery group and 292 in the validation group), we investigated systemic immune dysregulation in early NSCLC.
In recent years, relying on the human immune system to kill tumour cells has become an effective means of cancer treatment. The development of peptide vaccines, which not only break the immune tolerance of a tumour but also attack malignant cells via specific antitumour immunity, has received increased attention in tumour immunization therapy due to their safety and easy preparation. The use of large-scale sequencing technology enables the continuous discovery of new tumour antigens.

During EMT, epithelial cells lose their polarity and adhesion to surrounding cells and migrate, resulting in transition into mesenchymal cells. Canonical Wnt signaling has been implicated in controlling gene transcription and body axis pattern formation during development.

Epidemiological evidence has suggested that the daily use of aspirin reduces overall mortality of CRC and the risk of distant metastasis. We investigated the effect and mechanism of aspirin on CSCs in CRC.

CagA protein is a major virulence factor of H. pylori that interacts with SHP-2, a true oncogene, to interfere with cellular signaling pathways; CagA also plays a crucial role in promoting the carcinogenesis of gastric epithelial cells.

Objective: To investigate the relationship between alcohol consumption and risk factors for cardiovascular disease.
Methods: Two hundreds and twenty six subjects were enrolled in the study and grouped to non-drinkers, mild drinkers, moderate drinkers and heavy drinkers. Serum GGT, hs-CRP, %CDT, HCY, lipoprotein were measured in all groups.
