The efficacy and safety of Rhodiola formulation for the treatment of ischemic heart disease: A protocol for systematic review and meta-analysis.

Background: Ischemic heart disease is the main cause of heart failure, which seriously endangers the health of people and puts a huge burden on health care resources all over the world. We propose the current protocol to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Rhodiola on ischemic heart disease, providing a reference for clinical use.

Methods: Two research members will electronically and independently search 4 English databases (EMBASE, PubMed, National Guideline Clearinghouse, and Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials) and 4 Chinese databases (Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang Database, and VIP Database) from their inception to October 2020.
