Addressing the issues with insufficient multi-scale feature perception and incomplete understanding of global information in traditional convolutional neural networks for image classification of wheat leaf disease, this paper proposes a global local feature network, i.e. GLNet, which adopts a unique global-local convolutional neural network architecture, realizes the comprehensive capturing of multi-scale features in an image by processing the global feature block and local feature block in parallel and integrating the information of both of them with the help of a feature fusion block.

Object: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of Fuzhisan(FZS) on autophagic function in Alzheimer's disease and to elucidate its potential mechanism through the P62 regulatory pathways.
Methods: FZS was extracted by water extraction-rotary evaporation method.
Background: Postgraduate studies often entail significant stress, which can profoundly affect students' well-being and academic performance. The supervisor-postgraduate relationship plays a pivotal role in shaping stress levels among postgraduate students. This study investigates the mediating role of self-efficacy and the moderating influence of psychological resilience in the link between supervisor-postgraduate relationships and perceived stress in postgraduate students.

Although modified anti-adhesion barriers have been studied extensively, the immune response induced by the implants and the unclear mechanism limits their application. In this research, the advantage of the multi-functionalities of CA (caffeic acid) is taken to synthesize biodegradable poly (ester urethane) urea elastomers with ester- and carbamate-bonded CA (PEUU-CA).

We aimed to assess the effectiveness and safety of using a balloon guide catheter during endovascular thrombectomy, compared with using a conventional guide catheter, in this patient population.
Methods: We conducted a multicentre, open-label, blinded-endpoint, randomised controlled trial at 28 hospitals in China.
A multimode fiber-based sensor is proposed and demonstrated for the detection of lead traces in contaminated water. The sensing mechanism involves using a light sheet to excite a specific group of skew rays that optimizes light absorption. The sensing region features an inline microbubble structure that funnels the skew rays into a tight ring, thereby intensifying the evanescent field.

Methods: Three experiments were conducted to investigate the effects of anger and hostile attribution on TDA, examining these factors at both the individual and group levels. The preliminary experiment investigated how emotions affect subsequent cognition at an individual level with the aim of understanding the underlying generative process of TDA.
Introduction: Liver transplantation is considered an effective treatment for end-stage liver disease. Laparoscopic donor hepatectomy (LDH) has become a new standard procedure. And it is important to minimize the pain of the donor.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFA novel surface plasmon resonance (SPR) refractive index (RI) sensor based on the D-type dual-mode photonic crystal fiber (PCF) is proposed. The sensor employs a side-polished few-mode PCF that facilitates the transmission of the fundamental and second-order modes, with an integrated microfluidic channel positioned directly above the fiber core. This design minimizes the distance to the analyte and maximizes the interaction between the optical field and the analyte, thereby enhancing the SPR effect and resonance loss for improved sensing performance.

Herein, a built-in electric field (BIEF) strategy is reported to fabricate MnTe/MnO heterostructures with a large work function difference (ΔΦ) as a bifunctional cathode catalyst in Li-O batteries. The MnTe/MnO heterostructures with nanosheets and microporous structures result in an abundance of exposed active sites and facilitate mass transfer.

We aimed to investigate the relationship between adult attachment, and love psychological stress among college students, which also explored the roles of core self-evaluation and meaning in life.
Methods: We conducted a questionnaire survey on 813 college students using the adult attachment scale, core self-evaluation scale, meaning in life scale, and love psychological stress scale.
Objectives: The objective of this systematic review was to clarify the status of near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) in monitoring perioperative renal regional tissue oxygen saturation (rSO) and determine whether there is evidence supporting its use in predicting postoperative acute kidney injury (AKI).
Design: A systematic search of electronic databases was conducted to identify all clinical studies that utilized NIRS to monitor renal rSO during the perioperative period to observe postoperative AKI.
Setting: Studies published online as of May 31, 2024, were included in the review.
The somatic embryo (SE) has bipolar characteristics, which is an ideal material for large-scale microproduction of woody plants represented by apples, and the somatic embryo is also an excellent receptor for genetic transformation. The formation of embryogenic cells is a prerequisite for somatic embryogenesis to occur. The embryogenic cells of apples cannot be obtained without induction of exogenous auxin, but how the auxin pathway regulates this process remains unknown.

As a novel therapy, the clinical experiences are still lacking, especially for the use of efgartigimod in manifest and impending myasthenic crisis (IMC). We reported three AChR+, gMG patients, two with myasthenic crisis (MC) and one with IMC, treated with efgartigimod.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFAphids are sap-feeding plant pests that depend on their symbiotic relationships with the primary endosymbiont Buchnera aphidicola to adapt to impoverished diets. However, how the host plant affects the aphid primary symbiont and aphid adaptation to host plant transfer are poorly known. In this study, aphid symbiont screening and genotype identification were used to establish 2 aphid strains (Rhopalosiphum maidis [Rm] and Rhopalosiphum padi [Rp] strains) containing only Buchnera without any secondary symbionts for both wheat aphid species (R.

Although the neural basis of interaction processes in romance has been widely explored, the underlying emotions and the connection between relationship quality and neural synchronization remain less understood. Our study employed EEG hyperscanning during a non-interactive video-watching paradigm to compare the emotional coordination between romantic couples and close friends.

It is uncertain whether clinical efficacy can be improved by avoiding the inflammatory phase when hydrogels are delivered during adhesion formation.
Questions/purposes: (1) Compared with intraoperative hydrogel application, does ultrasound-guided postoperative application result in better total active motion (TAM) at 12 months after tendon injury? (2) Does ultrasound-guided postoperative application of hydrogels result in lower pain, better function, and better satisfaction?
Methods: This open-label, prospective, single-center, randomized controlled trial was conducted by reparative and reconstructive surgeons at the National Orthopedics Clinical Medical Center, Shanghai, People's Republic of China.
