Type 2 diabetes is epidemic in the US Pacific. Developing culturally sensitive physical activities and anti-sedentary interventions may reduce morbidity and mortality associated with type 2 diabetes. The purpose of the study was to identify sedentary and physical activity factors related to diabetes prevention and control among Chuukese living in Chuuk and Hawai'i.
