[Diagnosis and treatment of benign nonepithelial tumors of the large intestine].

The diagnosis and treatment of benign non-epithelial tumors of the large intestine are discussed. The cases are rare and present certain diagnostic difficulties. It is possible to establish the diagnosis of the tumors by x-ray examination with double contrasting of the large intestine and by transrectal needle biopsy of the neoplasms.
