Criterion of reliability as the function of variability and significance of biological parameters.

A differentiated approach to the choice of criterion of reliability in toxicological studies is recommended. This approach is based on quantitative assessment of variability of biological parameters using the variation coefficient. All biological parameters are classified into rigid, flexible and high-flexible ones.

[Hygienic evaluation of children's bathtubs made of plastics].

Results of hygienic study of baby's baths made of polystyrene are presented. Migration of components of the material into the water is studied, as well as skin-resorptive and sensitizing effect of polystyrene extracts on the organism of laboratory animals. The methodological procedure of hygienic investigation of plastic baby's baths is presented.
