A woman who had formerly had adequately treated breast cancer presented with symptoms of pain in the right shin. An X-ray of the punctum maximum for the pain showed a bone lesion. Biopsy revealed that it came from an adenocarcinoma of the lung, contrary to the first diagnosis of breast cancer meta-stasis.
