Introduction: Heart transplantation is the desired therapy in end-stage heart failure (HF) and in patients with left-ventricular assist devices (LVAD) suffering from life-threatening complications on device. Comorbidities are frequent in end-stage HF and may refrain the patient from being listed for heart transplantation such as infections making surgery impossible.

Presentation Of Case: We report the first case of a patient with proven LVAD system infection who additionally suffers from a brain abscess that made listing for heart transplantation impossible, leaving this patient no apparent treatment option.

The safety of combining transabdominal preperitoneal (TAPP) hernioplasty and cholecystectomy in one laparoscopic surgery is still for many years questionable. We report two cases describing the safety and discussing the main concerns regarding the complications. Bachground: Since the first laparoscopic cholecystectomy report in situs inversus totalis in 1991, the safety of this procedure has still been questionable. A few surgeons were preferred to perform an open cholecystectomy due to technical difficulties as well as various anatomical varieties that can be faced during surgery.

Intoduction: Endometriosis is a disease in which endometrial epithelium implanted outside the uterus. Although the endometrial tissue can implant anywhere, the most common places are the ovary and pelvic peritoneum. We present a rare case of recto-sigmoid endometriosis that causes a complete large bowel obstruction in a non-reproductive age woman who came with no specific symptoms of endometriosis and the diagnosis was made after surgical resection.
