Objective: The primary aim of this study was to examine the United States Preventative Services Task Force (USPSTF) guidelines concordant low-dose aspirin (LDA) counseling and factors associated with counseling in nulliparous birthing individuals.
Study Design: We conducted a retrospective cohort study of nulliparous birthing individuals who delivered between January 1, 2019 and June 30, 2020 and received prenatal care at the Duke High Risk Obstetrical Clinics (HROB). All nulliparous patients over 18 years old who established or transferred care to HROB by 16 weeks, 6 days were included in the analysis.

Background: It is common for pregnant people in the United States to continue to work throughout their pregnancy. Pregnant people may need leave time or other accommodations to continue working safely. It is imperative that obstetric providers are knowledgeable regarding laws that govern the prenatal and postpartum period to provide appropriate counseling and medical documentation in support of requests for leave time and workplace accommodations.

Epithelial ovarian cancer makes up approximately 90% of all cases and is responsible for more than 90% of ovarian cancer deaths. Elective salpingectomy has been shown to reduce ovarian cancer risk when performed at the time of a benign hysterectomy.
