Antibody-Drug Conjugates and Their Potential in the Treatment of Patients with Biliary Tract Cancer.

Biliary tract cancers (BTCs) are aggressive in nature, often presenting asymptomatically until they are diagnosed at an advanced stage. Surgical resection or liver transplantation are potential curative options. However, a large proportion of patients present with incurable locally advanced or metastatic disease and most of these patients are only eligible for palliative chemotherapy or best supportive care.

A case report on a rare presentation of adrenal myelolipoma with low-impact traumatic haemorrhage and the challenges of conservative management.

Adrenal myelolipomas are rare, hormonally silent, adipose and myeloid-containing lesions that are mostly asymptomatic. If they do present it is usually with mass-related flank pain or spontaneous haemorrhage. A 55-year-old female presented with right flank pain after a fall from a static pushbike.

Stain-Free total-protein normalization enhances the reproducibility of Western blot data.

We compared the accuracy of three common methods of total protein normalization. The Stain-Free method was accurate across different types/brands of western blotting membrane and for various protein loads, unlike Ponceau S and Amido Black. Normalizing to the housekeeping proteins Actin and β-Tubulin could match the accuracy of the Stain-Free method.

The natural history of ataxia-telangiectasia (A-T): A systematic review.

Here, we identified that a subunit of the Skp-Cullin-F-box ubiquitin E3 ligase apparatus, termed FBXO3, modulates the inflammatory response in atherosclerosis.
