The meta-analysis sought to evaluate and compare the effect of obesity on surgical site wound problems in subjects after primary ovarian cancer surgery. The results found by this meta-analysis were analyzed, and then odds ratio (OR) and mean difference (MD), at 95% confidence intervals (CIs), were calculated. These models might be dichotomous or contentious, random, or fixed effect models.

is a gram-negative bacterium that is responsible for rare peritonitis associated with peritoneal dialysis (PD). We present a case of a 64-year-old woman with a medical history of end-stage renal disease undergoing PD who was admitted to the emergency department with abdominal pain and nausea. Physical examination and laboratory studies revealed peritoneal signs and laboratory abnormalities consistent with peritonitis.
