Article Synopsis
  • Cross channel scripting (XCS) is a type of web application vulnerability that operates similarly to cross-site scripting (XSS) and can be exploited through devices with web interfaces like routers and cameras.
  • XCS allows attackers to inject malicious code into networked devices, which can then affect client browsers, using various protocols like FTP and SMTP.
  • The paper reviews detection and mitigation techniques for XCS, discusses different web application scanners, and evaluates their characteristics while also addressing the limitations and potential future developments in computational methods for XCS.

Introduction: Histopathological diagnosis of specimens is greatly dependent on good sample preparation and staining. Both of these processes is governed by diffusion of fluids and dyes in and out of the tissue, which is the key to staining. Diffusion of fluids can be accelerated by the application of heat that reduces the time of staining from hours to the minute.

Context: Local drug delivery (LDD) systems have been proposed for the treatment of periodontitis. Curcumin could be a suitable agent as LDD for the treatment of periodontitis.

Aim: To formulate, evaluate the anti-inflammatory activity and to assess the duration of the action and the efficacy of 2% curcumin gel in the treatment of experimental periodontitis in Wistar albino rat model.

The effects of mannan oligosaccharide (MOS) supplementation in broiler breeder diets on egg production, hatchability, fertility, and immunity were examined by randomly allocating 60-wk-old breeders to eight replicates (four replicates of two diet treatments) in a cage trial, and 42-wk-old broiler breeders to 12 replicates (six replicates of two dietary treatments) in a deep litter trial. Breeders were fed corn-soybean meal based diets with (MOS group) or without MOS or antibiotics (control group). Egg production, hatchability, and related parameters were measured for 8 and 12 wk in the cage trial and deep litter trial, respectively.
