Polluted environments often contain large amounts of toxic metals, such as cadmium, which pose a major threat to ecosystems and public health. Contamination by cadmium and its compounds is often observed in areas surrounding zinc mining sites and electroplating factories, and the control of cadmium pollution is essential for environmental safety and health. In this study, a highly efficient and straightforward separation strategy for KFe(CN)@FeO nanocomposites is successfully developed to capture the Cd ions in the water environment.

This paper proposes a novel joint probabilistic data association (JPDA) filter for joint target tracking and track maintenance under unknown detection probability and clutter rate. The proposed algorithm consists of two main parts: (1) the standard JPDA filter with a Poisson point process birth model for multi-object state estimation; and (2) a multi-Bernoulli filter for detection probability and clutter rate estimation. The performance of the proposed JPDA filter is evaluated through empirical tests.

This paper has proposed two continuous composite finite-time convergent guidance laws to intercept maneuvering targets in the presence of autopilot lag: one is for hit-to-kill and the other is for zeroing the line-of-sight (LOS) angular rate. More specifically, the nonlinear disturbance observer (NDOB) is used to estimate the lumped uncertainty online while the finite-time control technique is used to fulfill the design goal in finite time. The key feature in derivation of the proposed guidance law is that two integral-type Lyapunov functions are used to avoid analytic differentiation of virtual control law encountered with traditional backstepping.
