The study is aimed to estimate the effect of different heavy metals such as Hg2+, Cd2+, Mn2+, Cr3+, Ni2+, Se2O3(2-), As2O3 water solution and combined effects of Hg2+, Mn2+, Cr3+ on lipid peroxidation in mice liver homogenate in vitro. Lipid peroxidation was determined as thiobarbituric acid-reacting materials (TBA). We select five different concentrations of selected ions for experiments.

Results showed that the calcium content in fetal tissues was an unstable variable, and it was a function of spatio-temporal factors. Calcium content in fetal tissues reduced with the increase of age and weight of tissue, making a continuous decrease of the calcium content in per gram tissue.

The roles of Hg2+, Mn2+, Ni2+, Cd2+, Cr3+, SeO3(2-) and water solution of As2O3 in vitro system of ascorbic acid producing free radicals were studied. The results indicated that Mn2+ and Cr3+ inhibited free radicals induced by ascorbic acid but on the contrary, Hg2+, Cd2+ and As2O3 showed an enhancing effect, and the roles of Ni2+, SeO3(2-) were ambiguous.

Methods: To determine contents of the 21 chemical elements in each stomach samples from fetus aging four to ten months. The content values were compared to those from adult tissue samples, and the values for each month group were also analyzed for dynamic changes.
The dynamics of contents of chemical elements in fetal liver, and its physiological and nutritional significance are studied. Twenty-one chemical elements in livers of fetus from induced abortion aged four to ten months are measured and are compared with those in adult. The relativity between the monthly average contents of twenty-one elements and fetus month age are analyzed and assorted.

It shows that the epidemiology of endemic fluorosis is closely related to geochemical parameters of local environment. The food-web and dose-effect relationship of fluoride from environment to human body in different types of endemic fluorosis regions were studied.
