Rationale And Objectives: Hematoma expansion (HE) in intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is a critical factor affecting patient outcomes, yet effective clinical tools for predicting HE are currently lacking. We aim to develop a fully automated framework based on deep learning for predicting HE using only clinical non-contrast CT (NCCT) scans.

Materials And Methods: A large retrospective dataset (n = 2484) was collected from 84 centers, while a prospective dataset (n = 500) was obtained from 26 additional centers.

The medicinal mushroom Inonotus obliquus has been used as a folk remedy for a long time in Russia and East-European countries to treat gastrointestinal cancer, cardiovascular disease and diabetes. In our study, a water-soluble polysaccharide (ISP2a) was successfully purified from I. obliquus by DEAE-Sepharose CL-6B and Sepharose CL-6B column chromatography.

Five polysaccharides (IOP1b, IOP2a, IOP2c, IOP3a and IOP4) were isolated and purified from Inonotus obliquus by DEAE-Sepharose fast flow and SepharoseCL-6B column chromatography. Their chemical and physical characteristics were determined and antioxidant activities were investigated on the basis of hydroxyl radical assay, superoxide radical assay and ferric-reducing antioxidant power assay. The results showed that five polysaccharides exhibited antioxidant activities, and the higher content of uronic acid and proteinous substances, the stronger antioxidant activities of polysaccharides.

To understand the details of the permeation pathways of antimicrobial peptide JCpep8, the antimicrobial processes were investigated step by step in this paper. First, the characterization of the initial binding process was explored by introducing the living Staphylococcus aureus cells (LSACs) into electrophoretic buffer used as pseudo-stationary phase in capillary electrochromatography (CEC), and the thermodynamic parameters were determined. The binding constants at 298, 303, and 309 K were 7.

The paper optimized the parameters of microwave freeze drying (MFD) of crude Ginkgo biloba protein (CPG) using response surface methodology (RSM) based on the analysis of its proximate composition. The results showed that coefficients of determination, R(2) values for drying time and protein solubility were greater than 0.9500.

A rapid, reliable and reproducible method based on microemulsion electrokinetic chromatography (MEEKC) for simultaneous determination of 13 kinds of water- and fat-soluble vitamins has been developed in this work. A novel microemulsion system consisting of 1.2% (w/w) sodium lauryl sulphate (SDS), 21% (v/v) 1-butanol, 18% (v/v) acetonitrile, 0.

Yellow or white mustard (Sinapis alba L.) is unique in the mustard family by containing large amounts of mucilaginous material in the seed coat. This material was shown to exhibit similar rheological properties to xanthan gum such as shear thinning flow behavior and weak gel structure.
