Article Synopsis
  • Improvements in neural circuit imaging are crucial for studying how networks function in various species, prompting interest in the CLARITY technique originally developed for mouse brains.
  • We modified CLARITY to enhance the imaging of Aplysia ganglia using a new hydrogel solution and container.
  • Our results showed that these modifications significantly improved the visualization of specific neurons, indicating that this adapted method can be useful for Aplysia and potentially other invertebrate studies.
