Purpose: This study aimed to assess the efficacy and safety of nanoparticle albumin-bound paclitaxel (nab-paclitaxel) plus platinum versus paclitaxel plus platinum as first-line therapy in patients with metastatic or recurrent cervical cancer.
Methods: Between October 2020 and March 2022, consecutive patients with diagnosed with metastatic or recurrent cervical cancer were retrospectively recruited in our hospital. Fifty-four patients were treated with nab-paclitaxel plus cisplatin or carboplatin.
Objectives: Ulcerative colitis (UC) is a colonic immune system disorder, manifested with long duration and easy relapse. Genistein has been reported to possess various biological activities. However, it remains unclear whether genistein can ameliorate UC by modulating the homeostasis of the intestinal bacterial community.

However, the presence of dangling bonds, surface dislocations, and chemical impurities results in high surface defect density and sensitivity to humidity. Unfortunately, there are relatively few surface engineering strategies for single perovskite single crystals.

Additionally, although the alkaloid matrine () isolated from is now utilized as a botanical pesticide in China, in fact, its pesticidal activities are much lower in magnitude than those of commercially agrochemicals. To improve its pesticidal activities, here, the joint pesticidal effects of with another alkaloid oxymatrine () (isolated from ) and the monoterpene essential oil 1,8-cineole () (isolated from the eucalyptus leaves) were investigated in the laboratory and greenhouse conditions.

Cobimetinib, a potent yet selective inhibitor of MEK1 and 2, is currently used to treat melanoma clinically. In this work, we identified cobimetinib as a promising candidate for treating cervical cancer.

Deciphering the basis for these responses is critical for improving food security. We have developed a planta platform of single-nucleus RNA-sequencing by combined fluorescence-activated nuclei flow sorting, and used it to identify cell types in mature and developing stomata from 33,098 nuclei of the maize epidermis-enriched tissues.

However, the molecular mechanisms involved in Wnt/β-catenin activation are not well elucidated. In the work, we identify that R-spondin 1 is an upstream regulator in Wnt/β-catenin pathway to promote growth, survival and migration in ovarian cancer cells.

Targeting both glioblastoma cells and angiogenesis may present an effective therapeutic strategy for glioblastoma. In our work, we show that an anthelmintic drug, ivermectin, is active against glioblastoma cells in vitro and in vivo, and also targets angiogenesis.

BAK1 was predicted to be the target gene of microRNA-451 (miR-125b). The present study was designed to illustrate the mechanism of miR-125b in regulating CML via targeting BAK1.

Now, it is becoming increasingly evident that PF4 actively participates in inflammation and immune response. Recent paper demonstrated that PF4 limits the development and response of the Th17 cells and assisted in regulatory T cell development in transplantation.
