Introduction Tonsillectomy is the most common surgery in otorhinolaryngology worldwide, with many indications in adults and children. Traditionally, all tonsillectomy specimens are routinely submitted for histopathological examination, even in the absence of clinical suspicion of malignancy. This practice has been debated due to its resource implications and the low yield of malignancy in routine cases.

Our Experience With Intractable Epistaxis After COVID-19 Nasopharyngeal Swab.

Introduction: Although a COVID-19 nasopharyngeal swab is a safe procedure routinely performed by healthcare providers, it can lead to complications that can be life-threatening. We present seven cases of intractable epistaxis following a nasopharyngeal swab that required sphenopalatine artery ligation. We aim to shed light on this life-threatening condition, emphasizing the importance of recognizing and mitigating such complications.

A facile hydrothermal route was employed for the synthesis of iron-nickel bimetal organic frameworks (Fe-Ni bi-MOFs) and composite with an acid functionalized multi-walled carbon nanotubes (Fe-Ni MOF/f-MWCNTs) for electrochemical detection of tartrazine. The as-prepared Fe-Ni MOF/f-MWCNTs was confirmed by the several physicochemical studies. A micro spindle shaped, highly porous, and crystalline Fe-Ni MOF/f-MWCNTs was noticed.

Pesudocapacitance, high energy density, and specific capacitance may be provided by electrodes and redox mediator electrolytes used in redox-aided asymmetric supercapacitor equipment (RAASC), which are essential for their practical implementation. Introduction: The nasal mucosal contact points between the two opposing mucosal surfaces leading to the headache had been a point of debate for many years; the intermittent and fixed contact points and their relationship with headache have never been investigated before. We have studied the relationship of headache with a different type of contact points in our study.

Objectives: The aim of our study was to study two different types of mucosal contact point between the lateral nasal wall and the nasal septum and to study their relationship with symptom of headache.

Effect of 1-Substituted 2-(Pyridin-2-yl)-1-Benzo[]imidazole Ligand-Coordinated Copper and Cobalt Complex Redox Electrolytes on Performance of Ru(II) Dye-Based Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells.

Oropharyngeal trauma mimicking a first branchial cleft anomaly.

We present a unique and challenging case of a remnant foreign body that presented to us in a child disguised as a strongly suspected congenital branchial cleft anomaly. This case entailed oropharyngeal trauma, with a delayed presentation as a retroauricular cyst accompanied by otorrhea that mimicked the classic presentation of an infected first branchial cleft anomaly. During surgical excision of the presumed branchial anomaly, a large wooden stick was found in the tract.
