Background: Lung cancer remains a major global health concern due to its high incidence and mortality rates. With advancements in medical treatments, an increasing number of early-stage lung cancer cases are being detected, making surgical treatment the primary option for such cases. However, this presents challenges to the physical and mental recovery of patients.

We searched the PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science databases from inception to April 9, 2023, for randomized controlled trials of xenon anesthesia in postoperative patients. We included English-language randomized controlled studies of adult patients undergoing surgery with xenon anesthesia that compared its effects to those of other anesthetics.

Over the past decade, treatment strategies for NSCLC have progressed rapidly, particularly with the increasing use of screening programs, leading to improvements in the initial diagnosis and treatment of early‑stage and preinvasive tumors. Surgical intervention remains the primary treatment for early‑stage NSCLC.

NiuHuangJieDu tablets (NHJDT) is one of the most commonly prescribed realgar-containing preparations for the treatment of sore throat, swelling, and aching of gums. However, realgar-containing TCMs raise great safety concerns due to the adverse effects reported by arsenic poisoning.

As one of the most popular realgar-containing TCMs, NiuHuangJieDu Tablets (NHJDT) is used as OTC (over-the-counter) drug in daily life for fever relieving, detoxicating, as well as cure of sore throat and gingival swelling. However, the safety of realgar and its-containing TCMs still remains unclear.

However, the upstream factors controlling miR-548k expression are still unknown. In this study, we found NF90 directly binds pri-miR-548k, increases the stability of pri-miR-548k, and upregulates the expression of pri-miR-548k and miR-548k.

However, arsenic is considered as one of the most toxic elements, leading to growing concerns about the quality and safety of realgar-containing TCMs recently. In this study, health risk assessment of arsenic in realgar and NHJDT was conducted through oral administration of both substances to rats with single and multiple doses, respectively.

Although it has been proven to be effective in various neurologic disorders, the mechanism of the treatment of traumatic brain injury (TBI) is not fully understood. The aim of this study was to investigate the neuroprotective function of ketamine in models of TBI and the potential role of the nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) pathway in this putative protective effect.

This study was aimed to explore the effect of midazolam on mantle cell lymphoma cell line JeKo-1 and the relevant mechanisms. Effects of midazolam on the proliferation and apoptosis of JeKo-1 cells were observed by CCK8 assay and flow cytometry, respectively. Effect of midazolam on the expression of BCL-2, cytochrome C (Cyto-C), pro-caspase-9, pro-caspase-8 and pro-caspase-3 protein were detected by Western blot.
