Diabetes is a major risk factor for cardiovascular diseases, and myocardial damage caused by hyperglycemia is the main cause of heart failure. However, there is still a lack of systematic understanding of myocardial damage caused by diabetes. At present, we believe that the cellular inflammatory damage caused by hyperglycemia is one of the causes of diabetic cardiomyopathy.
