  • Ischemic monomelic neuropathy (IMN) is a rare condition that can occur in hemodialysis patients, leading to multiple nerve issues without evident clinical ischemia.
  • Most affected individuals are often women with diabetes, and it's important to differentiate IMN from vascular steal syndrome, where clinical ischemia is present.
  • Early detection and treatment of IMN symptoms are crucial to prevent permanent nerve and muscle damage, as illustrated by a case involving an elderly male patient following AV fistula surgery.
